I chose it after doing a lot of research (reviews, images, videos) and it is exactly what I needed, as it shows and says.
Pros:
+ It performs all the movements you see, it stands up quite high (135°, I don't know if it's that many degrees, but it rises much higher than it shows!), and - most importantly - the head (where the LEDs are) rotates so that it shines exactly where you want it to, something that most others don't do! It also reaches all the way down horizontally if you need light for something specific that you're working on, etc.
+ It is quite powerful, definitely satisfies every need, and has 5 color temperature levels, the brightest being the cool one, although there is no difference, it's mostly due to the human eye.
+ Very nice base, on top (where the touch buttons are) it is matte plastic (fortunately!) and not glossy as I feared. It is also quite slim.
+ Very good touch sensitivity on the buttons and the slider, not like various other gadgets that claim to be touch but are frustrating.
+ It stands as you want it to, thanks to its weight and the base, without being too heavy or uncomfortable in general.
+ It even includes a microfiber cloth for cleaning, something I didn't expect!
Cons:
(few and not significant, personally they don't bother me)
- To open or rotate it, generally for almost every movement, you have to hold the base.. Of course, it's logical, so that it can hold every position.. It's not tight or difficult.
- When you lower the head, if you don't do it gently, it hits metal against metal, something that I personally don't like because I don't want it to get scratched.. There's no issue, I would just prefer it to have a rubber "stop". I will put a small sticker (those silicone ones we use in drawers/cabinets to prevent them from hitting).
- The USB output it has is only 5V, so it's not suitable for today's phones, it will take a long time to charge.. I won't use it, so I don't care, maybe just for some small gadget, not for charging.
Get it with your eyes closed!
I was torn between this one and the Baseus Smart Eye (rechargeable, quite modern and slim) but I chose this one so that I never run out of power, and because it is more powerful, but also because the head rotates to aim the light where you need it. And it rotates on the base as well, and the first part of it, while in Baseus it is fixed. I chose the white one because it doesn't "stand out" as much as the black one in front of a wall.
