Reviews
For the job I bought it for, it is excellent. For its price, the mechanism is exceptional. It needs the improvements that one can find on YouTube if they want to transform it into a tool for everything. The downside is the plastic casing, but okay, you pay more for top-notch machines.
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?Without having experience with a similar machine, I bought it for amateur use.
With the disc it has, it had no problem cutting any wood so far.2 things I didn't like:
- The guide/fence (aluminum) - It can move on one end, so you will definitely need a patent or make a new guide yourself to achieve accuracy. I am still struggling because the bench where I have placed it is strange. There are several videos on YouTube to see how.
- Cover (plastic) on the base of the disc - After 2 hours of total use, it has taken a tilt in the center (it is visible to the eye). The problem will appear when cutting along the disc, close to and thin pieces. There are also several video solutions for this issue to make your own.1 star for each...
If there was a machine of a similar type for which I would know that I wouldn't encounter these 2 issues, I would pay an extra 150 euros to avoid the hassle.
Perhaps for a professional or an amateur with more experience than me, these specific problems can be dealt with more easily.
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?Powerful and reliable, and you can process large pieces of wood. It has some issues with the fence and the cover on the base of the disk, but they can be addressed with patents that anyone using such a tool can apply. It has several advantages over the competition, such as the sliding base on the left that allows you to place large pieces of wood and the guide for angles. It is good for stationary use and heavy for portable, but also a very versatile machine at a low price.
I have made a video on YouTube, and you can also watch the following video where I compare it to two other table saws: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ugoditMbCrA&t=5s&ab_channel=EmpnoiaCraftsandDIY
