After about 10 kilograms of coffee, I will also give my review. A quite good grinder. If you take care of it and clean it often, you will never have a problem with the dosages. You find what you like, you store it. No matter how many times I weighed it, I had the same result.
Positives:
- the airtight bell helps a lot in keeping your coffee fresh
- all the parts are magnetic
- the most important!! Its blades are stainless steel and not ceramic! Perhaps the only one at this price!
For the first 6 months, it had decent results. Then it started to lose its effectiveness, especially with light roasts. Generally, for the same types of coffee, you needed to go finer and finer, and now with all the settings it offers, it’s hardly capable of making espresso. The aromas are lost. 18g of coffee yields 60ml (not 36-40) in 20 seconds… the service in Greece is lacking in knowledge… they try it in pressurized baskets and find everything beautiful… better try another grinder. Personally, I will try the Baratza Encore Esp or Fellow Opus unless I take the big step with the Varia Vs3 or the Niche
The grinding quality decreased abruptly to a non-functional level after 4-6 months and the cleaning and instructions from the dealership do not help. Practically, espresso can no longer be ground after 6 months
I have read many articles and comments for months and decided that it is the best grinder in its category for home use as well as professional. Incredibly perfect construction. Two interchangeable group positions (50-54mm & 58mm) Professional coffee grinding. So far, I have only tried it for espresso. I believe that it will have absolutely no problem with other types of grinding as well. Generally, you need to grind a sufficient amount of coffee to find the desired grind size in the correct grams and time. Every time you change the blend, check the time, as that is what makes the grinder professional. Also, it is very important that when you have coffee residue inside the container, you don't need to remove it to clean the blades. Simply turn the safety lock and the container comes out along with the residue. Lastly, I consider the price to be very good for this grinder. MASTERPIECE. SIMPLY PERFECT!
