  The chessboard and the pieces are great. Vinyl that cleans easily and if taken care of will last a long time. The carrying case has some issues. The hook that hangs the cord is very thin plastic and broke very quickly before even being used essentially and the lid also breaks easily as it is thin plastic. Still, for this money I would buy a second one with the condition of taking even more care of the carrying case.

  For someone who wants a convenient but decent quality and size portable chess set, this is great given its price.

  The carrying case is sturdy and convenient, good quality, although I'm not sure if the carrying strap will hold up.

  The chessboard is a bit thin and has a simple okay print, but it seems durable with the only concern being how well the print will withstand over time.

  The chessboard is quite large and easy to transport, the pieces are made of plastic with little bumps underneath them, which I assume are to prevent scratching or sliding. The quality is good but I removed the star because these bumps come off very easily, even though the use of the pieces was very light. Also, one queen is a bit crooked. Other than that, if you are looking for a large but cheap chess set, this is the perfect choice!
