Also, it doesn't absorb well, when you apply it, it feels like a lump and if you try to put another product on top, it breaks apart at intervals. Also, if you have wounds from pimples, it will sting a lot. I didn't see anything spectacular in terms of effectiveness. I will not buy it again.

The texture reminds me a lot of silicone and I prefer serum-type products that are liquid and give a feeling of hydration. It has a fairly high concentration of vitamin, so it stings a little if not applied with moisturizer first. However, I have seen visible results after 1.5 months of use. More radiance in the skin and better texture

Did you find this review helpful?I believe that this particular company, like The Ordinary, has revolutionized cosmetics. They don't focus on packaging and frills, but on substance. However, it requires some research to see which combinations are not good. I use this in the morning and retinol with niacinamide at night. A blemish I had twenty days ago has faded by half. I don't know which of all the products is responsible, maybe all of them together.
Finally, it has a cream-powder texture, if that exists, and personally, I liked it. Don't immediately apply moisturizer afterwards because due to its thick texture, you will end up with white patches from the cream.
Update 9/25/2023: I stopped using it because... I upgraded and now prefer The Ordinary's powder consisting of 100% vitamin C. Another reason I switched is that it eventually left white residue on my face anyway.

It brightened my face... it worked wonders... of course, it's part of my daily routine. Every morning, I use the vitamin C and then always apply sunscreen, and every other night, I use the retinol. Since the improvement was gradual, I didn't notice it much myself, but others who hadn't seen me in a while noticed the difference. It doesn't have a strong scent... it has a nice powdery feel, good absorption so that you can apply your moisturizer afterwards... I won't change it in terms of results and cost-effectiveness.

The powdery feeling is due to the fact that such high concentrations exist in silicone to "break" their concentration and not be so irritating. Personally, I had no issues. A trick to enhance its action and mix it better on the face is to add two drops of some "safe" ingredient like hyaluronic acid or niacinamide. For example, I mix it with Pycnogenol from The Ordinary and then proceed with my cream.

It helps dull skin regain its brightness, smooth fine lines and wrinkles. It can help counteract damage from free radicals caused by environmental factors. All of these lead to healthier and more youthful skin, as long as the skin is protected with sunscreen 365 days a year. The opaque packaging protects the sensitive vitamin C from exposure to light and air (vitamin C is particularly vulnerable and oxidizes). If it were in a jar, it would be detrimental to the product. I have been using it for about a year along with the same company's Alpha Arbutin, and there has been improvement. If it had additional antioxidants and replenishing ingredients in its composition (which a good moisturizer may have), it would be excellent. I will repurchase it.
