Very good quality product. The baby drinks easily on its own without choking from the first moment I gave it to him (11 months). Of course, it requires supervision because it doesn't have a lid and he often turns it upside down or puts his hands inside. We had also used the smaller size, the tiny cup from 6 months occasionally, and he might have gotten used to it. This specific size (mini) is also available with a straw, which I would recommend instead of just the cup, because you have 2 in 1 (both a regular cup and a straw cup).
