For someone who just wants to toast, it is very expensive. For someone who wants to barbecue, it is very good. Very good quality materials and easy to clean.
Love at first sight, I grill everything there. Meats, breads, octopuses (it smells afterwards, I won't do it again). My friend Lefteris the great griller (to eat greens, it has to be inside meat) and I recommend it without reservation. It cleans easily (although my wife does it most of the time, bless her). A-MA-ZING. I wouldn't buy the larger surface area, as they have the same power, so I think this small one grills more evenly and quickly. Good bites.
Excellent! You should clean the plates while they are warm with paper towels and it's fine... I also put a little water in the plastic for the grease and that way nothing sticks

It's worth the money. The cooking is perfect from the simplest to the most complex. My daughter, now 14, cooks the meats she wants to eat by herself without any hesitation, even the chicken (which I might prefer a bit juicier - but we can't have everything). This size fits 3 toasts at the same time and about 3 portions of meat (depending on the cut, kids). Easy to clean since the plates can be removed, just be careful not to scratch them (this is the only downside - but there are replacements available on the market)
Unfortunately, I received this specific toaster twice, but the result is that it trips the main circuit of my house whenever I plug it in.
Unfortunately, one plate stopped working over time and the white light is flickering. I hope to resolve it with the warranty or that the damage is minor.
It does what it says.. like all cooking utensils and appliances and here you need to "learn" the tricks and secrets :) and, like all non-stick utensils, the plates need love and care, if you take care of them they will last you for many years because they are of good quality from the beginning.. there are also spare parts available at a not particularly low but reasonable and certainly acceptable cost..
First use and the automatic programs cannot be activated. I had to use the program that simply adjusts the temperature. Second use and the light is flashing, it needs repair according to the manual. 130 Euros for a faulty product, it's better to go for simple toasters that cost half the price. Searching for reviews online, it gets a maximum of 2-3 stars, due to its own and many other device problems.
In one month of use, I have to say the best things about it:
Sturdy, beautiful, and high-quality construction. I believe the saying "you get what you pay for" fits perfectly here. Its size is ideal for cooking for 2 people. For more people, someone might need to consider the XL size.
Very good cooking in everything we have tried so far, steaks, souvlaki, sausages, and sandwiches. The pre-installed programs definitely help because they give you a guideline for the required time, but to some extent, it also depends on your experience. The plates do not stick, and the whole device has a forward tilt to remove the fats into the collection tray placed in front.
Cleaning is always difficult in all devices that collect fats, and this toaster is no exception, due to the special non-stick coating on the easily removable plates, which require gentle treatment during cleaning.
So far, we have no complaints. We will see about its durability over time.
Sturdy construction, wonderful toast, crispy and just as it should be. For food, I haven't tried it yet. Easy to use, difficult to store because you can't store it upright (the cord is on one of the device's legs). If you have space on the countertop, it's worth having it on top, it's a beautiful device. The plates are easily removable and repositioned. It's definitely worth its money.
In 2 years of light use, the circuit board burned out and 2 buttons needed to be replaced....70 euros for repair.
2 Months of use, I am truly amazed. It grills the meats incredibly well without anything sticking to the plates, even after 24 hours. And the cherry on top is the built-in programs that tell you how long each meat needs to cook. Even my friend who knows nothing about cooking started using this toaster-grill. The beef steaks come out exceptional, as well as the chicken drumsticks, chicken fillets, kebabs, burgers, and sausages. I usually throw in some hot peppers as well.
All of this is great, but there are also some negatives.
1. The plates are difficult to clean with a sponge, you need a soft brush (I got one from Jumbo) and not a wire brush. They have a non-stick coating, they are not pure metal as advertised, if you scratch it with a wire brush, it will be ruined. Also, it's good not to mishandle them during washing because I accidentally detached the non-stick coating with a hit on the faucet (fortunately, it's in a spot where the meats don't cook).
2. Spare parts are slightly hard to find on the internet, and some extra accessories like the waffle maker (100 euros) or the baking tray (60 euros) are very expensive. With 100 euros, you can get a borderline professional waffle maker! Fortunately, the plain plates range from 15 to 25 euros each, and the oil collecting container is under 10 euros.
The only thing left now is to see its durability over time. So far, it's a 5/5 because it grills wonderfully
Very good grill. I have been using it for a week now and my impressions are excellent.
On the first day, chicken fillets. It grilled them perfectly, juicy and tasty.
On the second day, salmon fillet. Also excellent.
On the third day, toast. I disagree with someone who wrote that it crushes the bread, maybe they chose poor quality bread.
On the fourth day, rib-eye, it grilled it perfectly medium.
On the fifth day, bread for bruschetta, very well grilled.
On the sixth day, Imam Bayildi, I didn't use it.
With the little use I have had so far, I find it excellent and highly recommend it. A big advantage is that to grill, you close the plates and it senses the temperature on both surfaces, there is no need to flip the food to cook it, saving double the time and energy.
I believe it is ideal for quality grilling.
After a few months of use, my evaluation remains the same. Excellent purchase.

I have grilled up to a 1.7 kg Tomahawk steak!! It obviously fit but it made it perfect as a Medium Rare steak should be.
I have also made Japanese Wagyu Rib Eye and it was also amazing.
It is worth every penny because you can make steak at home very quickly and automatically (since it tells you when it is rare, medium, well done and you can take it out whenever you want) the steak that outside costs 100 Euros.
Also, I always put the plates in the dishwasher at 50° on Eco and they always come out perfectly clean.
Perfect toaster with a good size, not only for toast but also for meat. It grills everything exceptionally well. We have tried it with meat (steaks, burgers) as well as chicken, vegetables, etc., and it performs excellently, cooking the food thoroughly while keeping it juicy. The removable plates are easy to take out and also easy to clean, just like a small frying pan. If you cook food, make sure to clean the remaining pieces with a damp cloth so that dirt doesn't accumulate, and it will be perfect. Moreover, most of the juice and fat that comes out of the meat is collected in the front container, which also comes out and is easy to clean. We highly recommend it, it's worth every penny (after 4-5 months of use). ********
Others have written much more and I agree, what I want to write is that if you don't have a dishwasher (where it cleans perfectly), when washing by hand the plates tend to splash water. So be careful. Obviously, it is NOT a reason for someone not to buy it since the grilling is simply PERFECT for the tastes of all those who have tried fish, beef, and chicken.
If you want to buy it as a toaster, think again. The lid is so heavy that it almost crushes the toast, so forget about the classic crispy toast. It also takes a long time to preheat. If you buy it as a grill, you will have satisfactory results in grilling, as long as you don't "obey" the automatic sound indications, as it is supposed to perceive the content and cook accordingly. On the positive side, the non-stick plates are of very good quality, they are easy to clean, and overall its construction is of good quality.
Excellent product with the guarantee of TEFAL! It is not just a simple toaster (if you want to only make toast, get one for 20 euros), it is a truly smart grill ideal for meat, fish, and of course, toast. What I have to say is that 1) you have to trust it in cooking (whenever I chose to cook something for a longer time, it didn't turn out well, while this grill knows what it's doing!!!) 2) you have to give it time to learn it so that you can adjust the cooking to your taste! After all, it has so many options! I have cooked almost everything and chicken drumsticks with bones turned out amazing!
Otherwise, it is very easy to use and clean. I highly recommend it!
For toast, bread, and pitas, it is good because of the slope for the liquids of the meats to drain and the low temperature intensity of 1000w on top and 1000w on the bottom takes time to bake and when it bakes it dries out the meats

After several months of use....
We use it mostly for making toast and grilling meats... It makes toast perfectly, I don't have much to say about that.
As for the meats (and one time salmon/fish), it grills them perfectly!!! I was generally afraid of chicken, so I would always cut it to make sure it was cooked well... I will say this... I have never made it better. Usually, it dries out. With this toaster, it is always cooked exactly as needed, juicy and well-cooked. If you want the beef steak, for example, medium, it will be ready in 3 minutes.. (obviously a normal thickness).
And cleaning is very easy, especially if you wet the plates a little.
Overall, I consider this toaster an investment!!
Very good grill. Pay great attention to cleaning regarding the non-stick plates. If you don't take care of them after a few months, they are no longer non-stick. From my experience, I recommend cleaning them only with warm water.
So far, it has worked perfectly with toast, chicken fillet, and beef fillet. Don't expect charcoal results, but definitely something close enough. If you have read the other reviews, I think you pretty much know what to expect. I bought it with the intention of cooking something of uniform thickness and boneless. Although I haven't personally tried it, since everyone says that the meats should be the same thickness, I trust it.
The product seems to be of very good quality construction and also very nice-looking. It definitely takes up a fair amount of space. Whether on the countertop or in a cabinet.
Basically for some reason, maybe because I read such good reviews, I was expecting something more wow and I wasn't so impressed for the money it costs. The programs it has seemed so-so and when you want something cooked properly, it tends to overcook it. Since I haven't had it for long, I will try using the manual mode more to see if it cooks slower and doesn't burn the exterior as much.
Almost 5 months later and I still have the same opinion. As a griller, especially for me, it's not great and someone who wrote that it seems like it cooks some things is right.
Very good device, it grills most types of meat and they turn out great! Easy cleaning with hot water, I'm glad I bought it as it doesn't take long to cook, heavy-duty device and if calibration is needed, it has easy instructions on the internet
