Unfortunately, it does not play applications like Cosmote tv, Vodafone tv, Disney+ etc. It needs to be unrooted. Useless because I got it for this reason. I give 2 stars because if you connect a keyboard and mouse via USB, you can use it as a PC.
I bought it for IPTV use and because I read the good comments here!! Don't think it does wonders, I actually regret not spending a little more to get a mag
First of all, you accept that the controller is only for the device settings menu and you have to select the mouse function to do your job, for example for the Netflix menu.
2. The controller only works up close.
3. It also functions as a hot spot.
4. It supports Greek
The best TV BOX I have used, despite having a relatively old Android, works very well.
Generally, it does what it says....
At first, it confuses you a little until you realize that you need to connect a mouse to do your job, but for the money you pay, you get what you pay for. If the power goes out, it wastes time and then does nothing until you fix it.... Its remote control is Chinese but from a village in China, so you have to be within 1 meter for it to work...
Today I received it. I found it at a good price, under 50€, and I bought it. Unfortunately, the box is rooted and the Cosmote TV doesn't work. It seems to be of good quality (it will show with use). Also, it doesn't work well with the remote control and the mouse solution is a dead end. I should inform you that the EON (Nova) application works perfectly fine. (it didn't work on Xiaomi)
Regarding Kodi, I will come back after the seminar I have to attend because it is very complicated.
After a week of use, Nova freezes and plays frame by frame in live programs. In other words, it is frustrating during sports broadcasts and more. It is most likely going to the closet.
The latest news concerns EON (Nova). It doesn't work properly at all. It shows frame by frame.
I don't have it anymore. I left it in the village...
First day and it connected easily, with a relatively easy menu and handling. I hope it continues like this. The only "flaw" is the short HDMI cable.
I'm coming back: Cosmote doesn't work, probably the provider has the issue and it doesn't scroll down on Netflix and YouTube.
Very polite at the store, waiting for a technician.
P.S. It scrolls with an "external" mouse, not with its own function as a mouse it has. So, get a mouse.
1.
Chinese TV box.
Material quality above average.
Bought exclusively for Kodi FHD. Works well, although it takes time to fully load heavy builds. It gets very "hot" (I've seen it reach 80 degrees). It doesn't freeze. I have it connected via wired connection. The remote is difficult. I set up the settings with the help of a USB mouse. My only objection is that the firmware that came with the one I bought, although it had Android 9, does not support Bluetooth. It's very likely that if I install some aftermarket firmware, it will improve... Overall, it keeps its promises. I will update if anything new arises.
So far it works fine without any problems and it doesn't struggle anywhere. It doesn't support direct audio transmission for connection with an external decoder (amplifier, that is), Dolby Digital or DTS. If you want it for connection to a TV and not to a 5.1 or 7.1 system, then it's fine.
I have had it in my hands for 10 days. I am very satisfied, Kodi doesn't freeze, I have a 50Mbps VDSL connection from Vodafone and WiFi throughout my house works perfectly, it's worth the money.
After 30 days of use, I have the following to say:
- Overall, it is a very good and fast box. I believe it is worth its money.
- I have a VDSL 50 internet connection. It has a good WiFi signal. Also, so far there is a stable flow and I haven't experienced any disconnections.
- The menu is not difficult at all for someone who has dealt with Android devices in general. I consider it the best out of the 3 TV boxes I have purchased so far...
- The 4GB RAM is great and the 64GB storage is perfect for KODI.
Finally, for those who want it for KODI, to enhance performance, you need to explore how it works (addons, builds, etc.). You need to uninstall the version that comes with it, install the latest version (Leia) from the box's play store, and "customize" it according to your needs.
