I bought it for my teenage son who has just started shaving and shaves 1-2 times a week. Because the hairs are somewhat long, it takes a little persistence to catch them, but the result is very good. No irritations or anything. He also forgets to charge it... The included brush is very helpful. I recommend it.
Depending on the use. If you want to shave every 3-4 days, DO NOT buy it; it requires many passes, and especially under the chin on the neck, it can make you feel desperate from the many passes, which ultimately causes irritation. In general, it has an issue with catching hairs on the neck. Personally, for this use that I mentioned above, it disappointed me to the point that I consider my money wasted and I am looking for another one. If you are going to shave every day, it is an excellent tool and only for that; the result is that of a close shave.
Mediocre choice. If someone has coarser hair and needs to shave more often, it's better to spend more money on a better overall machine. If you don't shave that often and just want to avoid a razor, it's simply a good option. It does not replace a razor for a close shave. 3/5
I bought it for 78 euros through skroutz plus, I didn't want to buy something cheap. It's fine, it just requires many passes to shave completely. It has an extra trimmer on top that makes shaving easier. If it didn't have that, I don't think it would be worth it. Just because it requires many passes, you might get redness from the pressure to shave.
I have it for three years.
It shaves "well" only if used daily.
For two to three days' worth of beard, it requires many repetitions in the same areas and from different angles.
When oiled before each use, it performs better.
With patience, you can achieve a "close" shave.
If it breaks, I won't buy it again, I'll go for something better.
You get what you pay for... I had a Xiaomi for the poor.... Now we have upgraded. Quality comes at a price. I shave every day. Simply easy and fast. Just buy it!!
Well guys, it's a quality machine, meaning you grab it and you actually feel that it's a good quality machine. But let's get to the point, I bought it with the intention of replacing my razor (Gillette Fusion). It has only been tested on dry skin so far and used for 2-3 days of growth. In the end, I will divide it into 2 categories, the first being the cheek and upper area, and the second being the neck. In the first category, it gives a very good shave, comparable to a razor, it really provides a close shave without any irritation, although it requires a few repetitions which is okay. Now let's move on to the second category, the neck, which I honestly expected better results based on the price and advertising that emphasizes its ability to clean the neck well. However, it doesn't shave the neck well at all, it requires several repetitions for a decent result and still leaves a few hairs, forcing you to use a razor for a perfect result. I would rate it 3/5 and I imagine the next model with 5 blades will offer this result
I have it for about a month. I am quite satisfied, it gives a close shave. However, it requires 2-3 passes. That doesn't bother me. It cleans easily under the faucet after removing the blades. It is suitable for both dry and wet shaving.
I recommend it. I liked it. 4.5 stars, due to the repetitions.
Well, I bought this specific machine for 80€ and I have to say that it's worth it and more. Finally, I am relieved from shaving with a razor, the cuts, and the irritations. The result is as if you are shaving against the grain with a razor, and overall, since I shave every day, it has saved my hands. It also gives a very good shave if you use gel and do wet shaving.
The only negative thing it has is that it gives a very bad shave on the neck, leaving some hairs. I have tried everything... I try different shaving techniques. I tighten my skin hoping it will do better, but it doesn't give good results, which is not justified for a machine with such a high price.
I would buy it again, of course, with comfort, but it's a shame that I have to use a razor blade to shave my neck... If you want something more and your budget allows it, go for razors of the same brand with 5 blades that I have heard give good results in those areas.
I have it for 5 years and I am completely satisfied. The battery lasts a long time, I haven't changed the blades yet and they don't need to be changed (compared to other more expensive ones that need to be changed yearly). It is easy to clean, doesn't get clogged, and for hair longer than three days, start with the favorite setting and then use the regular one! Just follow the maintenance instructions with the soap and oil they mention and don't leave it in water, and it will last!
The review concerns head shaving: sturdy quality construction, easily cleaned with water, and the built-in favorite trimmer is awesome for the area around and inside the ears.
However, for head shaving, it requires several passes because it only has 2 blades. Spend a little more money to get something with more blades to avoid irritations, especially if you have sensitive skin.
Because it is not one of the cheap ones, it should shave the whole face well. Unfortunately, as other users have mentioned, it requires many repetitions to get an acceptable result on the neck. Not good, not perfect. Apart from that, it is amazing for cheeks, chin, and mustache. Easy cleaning, good battery, and powerful motor.
Owner of two Philips rotary shavers, I chose to switch brands. Shaving with the Panasonic using foam is equivalent to a close shave. It really doesn't differ from a razor. Note: I have tough facial hair and have shaved with all Gillette razors and the two Philips shavers I mentioned. My last one, the Series 7000, stopped charging and the money was wasted
Perfect shaving machine. The flagship of Panasonic, no irritations, close shave, beast battery, you forget to charge it and it's economical at 70 euros plus shipping. 2-year warranty, what else do you want when you have the torture of shaving EVERY DAY? CONGRATULATIONS TO PANASONIC!!!!!!!!!
I have had it for a month, it is exactly as most people describe it.
It turns the cheeks and favorites immediately, while for the area under the chin and neck it requires many repetitions! It also shaves quite well for a day or two of growth, while for three days of growth and above it requires several repetitions.
Its battery lasted me a month with a full charge.
The time for a good shave is 5 to 7 minutes.
No irritations at all!
I got rid of the expensive razors and shaving foams once and for all, and that's why I believe it's worth its money, even if the shaving time hasn't decreased!
This is a very good, lightweight, and powerful device. It shaves deeply without causing irritation, both in straight and against the grain shaving. These impressions come from shaving a 24-hour beard. The first time I used it for a dry shave, I was completely satisfied.
Flawless shaving. Very deep, especially with shaving gel. I recommend it. In my opinion, it's better than the Philips one that I had for many years and had better battery life.
Former owner of Braun series 7, I was very satisfied after 2 and a half years of using it, initial purchase price 138€. I decided to change brands and get the Panasonic, I can't say that I am satisfied, I bought it for 80€. It irritates quite a bit and for the first time after so long, I see small white pimples on my face the next day. Also, I have a hard time shaving in the area above my lip, it doesn't handle it well. I will not recommend it to someone with demanding and coarse hair, it's better to spend a little more and get something better.
I have had it for just one week. However, I am very satisfied. It shaves deeply, without irritation, and it is very easy to clean. PS: I have been using the machine for 8 months. It is amazing, especially since I started using it with shaving gel!
After a month of use, everything is fine. Very good shaving with several passes in different directions opposite to the hair growth. No irritations, but I have been shaving with an electric razor for many years now. I had Philishave all these years. Since they changed the design and added detachable heads, shaving, especially in wet conditions (summer, sweat), was a torture. With Panasonic until today, it's a pleasure. I won't go back to Philips rotary heads.
I tried it on dry hair with a few strands, it cut me in 2 places. I like that it says it has a sensor to prevent cuts. 2) It doesn't work on electricity even though the manual says the opposite. It's a shame, I'm returning it to Philips
+ Positive
• Very close shave
• Does not irritate whether used on dry or wet skin
• Quick shaving
• Easy to clean and does not clog
• The battery lasts for 4 shaves. Satisfactory, I would say.
• Sturdy construction that seems like it will last
- Negative
Unfortunately, it has a huge drawback. While it does everything it promises from the chin and above, it is completely inadequate from the chin and below. No matter how I try to shave, it leaves several areas without shaving them. I am forced to use a razor. So, the machine has automatically lost its purpose and I wasted 90€. It's a shame because it does an incredible job on the face. The skin becomes as smooth as a baby's.
Purchased on 11-2 for 95 euros. It is my first electric shaver and I am completely satisfied with my purchase. Just to clarify, I shave twice a week and my facial hair is not coarse. I prefer dry shaving, no pressure is needed (quite the opposite, I would say), and it definitely does not cause irritation. The packaging does not include any extra accessories.
The shaving is incredible, the shave it provides is comparable to a "close shave" with a razor, but without the irritation of the razor. Highly recommended
