So far, the measurements seem accurate compared to a digital armpit thermometer. It takes quite a while to get a reading. Whether it's worth the money will depend on how long the battery lasts, as for safety reasons it cannot be charged or replaced. So when it's finished, you simply throw it away.

If you find it for 2 euros, which is the price of the battery (which CANNOT be replaced), get it for the child to play with, for anything else it is useless. The manufacturer is Scala electronic.
