    It has a spiral resistance that is in contact with the water. 1/ this is bad for the quality of the water. 2/ if the water stays below the permissible level sometimes the resistance will overheat and burn out. This happened to me. It lasted 2 weeks. So never a kettle where the resistance is inside the container with the water. It should be from below.
