This book presents ways of thinking and acting that allow for the collection and interpretation of information about the nature and effectiveness of learning and adaptation of students with special educational needs in various educational settings, with the aim of organizing programs and specifying teaching actions.
In particular, the Learning Needs Evaluation System (LNES) is presented, which is a comprehensive assessment model of learning and adaptation in school and includes eight phases or stages, with distinct objectives and specialized techniques.
