The Polar Ignite is a waterproof fitness watch with an advanced wrist-based heart rate sensor and built-in GPS.
Nightly recharge
The Nightly recharge function provides information about the recovery status based on automatic measurement during the night. Based on the measurement, you receive advice to help you adjust your daily schedule and what you can do to recover better in the coming evenings. The information provided through Nightly recharge is used as a basis for the daily recommended exercises in the Daily training guide.
Daily workout guidance
With the Polar Ignite, you receive personalized training guidance without having to think about what type of training is most suitable at the moment. The recommended exercises are based on the user's recent training history, current fitness level, and nightly recharge. The suggestions are adaptable and personalized. The guidance includes cardio exercises and supportive exercises (strength, core, and mobility).
Serene breathing exercises
With the Serene function, you can practice deep breathing exercises that help relax the body and mind, as well as manage stress. It provides easy and understandable instructions for learning proper breathing techniques and feedback on the results.

I have had the watch for about 10 months and have used it for crossfit, running, gym, and everyday activities. I always use it with a heart rate monitor during workouts for accuracy, as no wristwatch can accurately track changes in heart rate during HIIT programs, etc. It is clearly a sports watch and has minimal smart functions.
Pros:
- Very lightweight and doesn't feel heavy when worn
- Relatively easy to use
- Very good sleep analysis when combined with the app
- Good accuracy in GPS measurements for running
- Can be paired with a heart rate monitor via Bluetooth
- Satisfactory workout suggestions from fitspark on the watch, and you can create your own programs and transfer them to the watch
- Battery life is decent. With daily use of 1-2 hours of exercise and for sleep at night, it lasts about 2 days. Otherwise, it can last up to 5 days.
Cons:
- Not as aesthetically pleasing to wear constantly as other smartwatches, as it looks cheap and Chinese-made, but this is subjective.
- Takes time to sync data with the mobile app
- Does not support music
- Touchscreen is not very responsive
- Not very visible in direct sunlight
- Overestimates step count for those who are interested in that
- Does not have recovery pro
Overall, it is worth its price as a sports watch and will do the job for an average athlete who wants to track heart rate, time, calories, etc.
