Easy to assemble. It seems to withstand as a construction. Its main use is for psychological reasons and for "just in case" safety. It has definitely been used to hold and lift due to a problem with the hand, but that is not its primary use. If it was, I believe it would hold up. No signs of wear have been detected yet. It requires a little attention when the bed is wooden, to insert the handle a little further inside so that it does not touch and damage the bed. Something that is easy to do during installation. It reaches the middle of the bed and goes over it. If we wanted to put it on the other side of the bed, at the same height, it would not be possible. It has a strap to attach to the slats/frame of the bed, but it is not needed in this case.

It is very sturdy and stable and helps someone incapable of getting out of bed to do so safely! It is very easy to install, without screws or other constructions, as it "clamps" under the mattress!
