Extremely flexible with many functions, it almost covers what you would do (on a daily basis) with your smartphone. I didn't buy it with the main criterion being sports, but everything else, so I don't give an opinion on the accuracy of measurements, etc.

So, it has built-in memory and full Spotify autonomy (with song downloads), while Bluetooth headphones (I have the Galaxy Buds+) connect directly to it. So, for a run or a leisurely walk, you may not even need to have your phone with you. Of course, it also functions as a Spotify controller on the phone, equally convenient in my daily life as I don't take my phone out of my pocket for any reason.

It accepts calls and you can talk through it, as it has a microphone and speaker, and as I said, it also takes headphones. I have the basic version, not the LTE, so all this in collaboration with the phone always. I have used it a few times for calls, it helps a lot, again I don't need the phone. As shown in the photos, you can also respond to SMS/notifications, and even in Greek!

It takes a bunch of apps, from YouTube (although I don't see the point on such a small screen) to a browser and a completely autonomous GPS with a downloaded map of Greece. In general, it is a Swiss army knife, it is certain that you will find something to help you in your daily life or even at work (it has the Outlook app where you can read, reply, flag, etc. normally). I wish it had Alexa integration too, to control devices at home directly from the watch.

I chose it over the Galaxy Watch because it is cleaner and without a too fancy case, I have thin wrists and it probably wouldn't look nice. The strap that goes into itself and doesn't hang is a great feature, as shown in the second photo. In terms of build quality, it is sturdy and you can feel it, but I don't know how much it will withstand a hit or a fall. I take care of it like my own eyes, I even avoid water despite it being waterproof. I use it with a Samsung Galaxy S10+, it connected in seconds and has never lost, so far, the connection between the two if I stay within 10 meters.

The only clear drawback is the battery that barely lasts two days with simple use, but I imagine it is the sacrifice that had to be made for so many functions. If it fits your budget and you don't mind frequent charging, I believe it is one of the most impressive ones you will find in your hands.

Αγοράστηκε πριν 1 χρόνο, φυσιολογική χρήση, όχι άθληση και δεν έχει έρθει ποτέ σε επαφή με το νερό, ούτε για πλυσιμο χεριών.
Στο 1 χρόνο ξεκόλλησε το πίσω καπάκι που προστευτεύει τους sensors. Σε έρευνα που έκανα στο internet, είναι γνωστό πρόβλημα για το συγκεκριμένο μοντέλο. Το εξουσιοδοτημένο σερβις ανέφερε ότι δεν αλλάζει το καπάκι αλλά όλο το πίσω μέρος του ρολογιού!! Σημειωτέον ότι το συγκεκριμένο καπάκι πωλείται σε διάφορα sites του εξωτερικού περίπου στα 15-20 ευρώ!!
Στην αγορά αυτή ότι ήταν να πάει στραβά πήγε, καθώς το μαγαζί κατά την αγορά του θεώρησε καλό να το αποστείλει μόνο με την απόδειξη της ταμειακής μηχανής και για να πάρω βεβαίωση ότι η βλάβη είναι μέσα στην εγγύηση χρειάζονται φωτογραφία του κουτιού....το οποίο δυστυχώς έχει καταστραφεί.
Συμπέρασμα, ποτέ ξανά SAMSUNG και επίσης μεγάλη προσοχή στα συνοδευτικά αγοράς ενός προιόντος.

The downside is clearly its battery with very little autonomy.   I put it on for the first time. in the sea, of course not diving or long dives, don't imagine that, and the touch screen stopped working and became completely useless.

  It has a very limited range of activity choices for starting measurements on the watch itself. Activities such as "dance, martial arts, aerobic activity," etc. are missing.
  The mobile app has more activity options, but they cannot be transferred to the watch.
  Overall, it is perfect for people who casually engage in sports activities (swimming/running/cycling/walking) and do not have specific performance requirements.

  Καλησπέρα και από εμένα? Εχου περάσει από τα χέρια μου samsung galaxy s3 frontier, Huawei watch gt 2, amazfit gts 2 mini και τώρα αυτό οπότε θα το συγκρίνω με αυτά.

  *Σχεδιασμός: για το δικό μου γούστο το active 2 έχει το πιο ωραίο design. Πολύ ποιοτικό λουράκι, το bezel γύρω γύρω μπορεί να είναι λίγο "μεγάλο" αλλά έχει λόγω ύπαρξης καθώς λειτουργεί σαν την ροδέλα του s3 frontier το οποίο βοηθάει στο να σου κάνει την ζωή πιο εύκολη (απο να περιηγηθείς στο μενού μέχρι να αλλάξεις γρήγορα την ώρα στο ξυπνητήρι). Μπορεί βέβαια να λέει ότι το χρώμα είναι black αλλά στην πραγματικότητα είναι ένα πολύ σκούρο μπλε.

  *Οθόνη: πιο φωτεινή από όλα τα υπόλοιπα που είχα, βλέπεις με μεγάλη ευκολία σε κάθε συνθήκη (ακόμη και μέρα μεσημέρι με γυαλιά ηλίου). Επίσης μου δίνει την εντύπωση ότι είναι πιο ομαλή σαν να έχει περισσότερα hertz από τα προηγούμενα).

  *Software και λειτουργίες: το Tizen OS είναι φοβερό ένα σκαλί κάτω βεβαια από wear OS της Google (προφανώς δεν βάζω στην συζήτηση τα Apple watch γιατί, αφενός δεν έχω άποψη και αφετέρου τα Apple watch καλώς ή κακώς είναι ότι καλύτερο μπορείς να πάρεις αν έχεις iPhone φυσικά) , αλλα ανώτερο από αυτό της Huawei και της xiaomi. Μπορείς να μιλήσεις στο τηλέφωνο από το ρολόι (όπως και στο gt2) καθώς έχει μικρόφωνο (το οποίο με ακούνε τέλεια) και ηχείο (το οποίο είναι αρκετά δυνατό) αλλα μπορείς να απαντήσεις και σε κάθε ειδοποίηση που σου έρχεται (π.χ. Viber, messenger, email, SMS κτλ κτλ) είτε με preset απαντήσεις, είτε αν θες χρησιμοποιώντας το πληκτρολόγιο να γράψεις ότι θέλεις. Μπορείς να εκμεταλλευτείς τον αποθηκευτικό χώρο του ρολογιού προσθέτοντας φωτογραφίες και μουσική. Μουσική μπορείς να ακούσεις συνδέοντας ασύρματα ακουστικά χωρίς να χρειάζεσαι το κινητό ταυτόχρονα. Μου αρέσει παραπολυ όταν ακούω μουσική από το κινητό και έχω συνδεδεμένο το ρολόι που μπορώ να χειριστώ την μουσική από το ρολόι ανεξαρτήτου εφαρμογής. Δηλαδή μπορεί να ακούω Spotify η youtube music και να μπορώ να σταματήσω, να συνεχίσω και να αλλάξω τραγούδι από το κινητό. Αυτό βέβαια γίνεται και στο YouTube αλλά και στο Netflix. Μπορείς επίσης να εγκαταστήσεις εφαρμογές από το galaxy store όπως Spotify, αριθμομηχανή, Outlook και άλλα πολλά για να τα χειρίζεσαι κατευθείαν στο ρολόι.

  *Σύνδεση με κινητό: το ρολόι το έχω χρησιμοποιήσει με pixel 5 και τώρα με note 20 ultra. Με κανένα δεν είχα θέμα με το ρολόι. Με το πιξελ όσο και με το note οι ειδοποιήσεις έρχονται κατευθείαν χωρίς καμία καθυστέρηση. Μάλιστα αυτό που μου αρέσει είναι ότι όταν χρησιμοποιώ το κινητό, δεν έρχονται οι ειδοποιήσεις στο ρολόι. Έρχονται όταν δεν το χρησιμοποιώ! Με το amazfit για παράδειγμα μπορεί να μιλούσα στο μεσεντζερ και παρόλο που ημουν μέσα στην συνομιλία και τα διάβαζα από το κινητό, το ρολόι συνέχιζε να δονείται δείχνοντας μου τις ειδοποιήσεις που έχω ήδη δει. Με αποτέλεσμα να αναγκάζομαι να κλείσω το Bluetooth. Επίσης ένα πλεονέκτημα τώρα με το ότι έχω και κινητό Samsung είναι ότι μπορω να μετράω την αρτηριακή πίεση και επίσης να βγάλω καρδιογραφημα! Δεν ξέρω πόσο από κλήση έχουν αυτά, δεν έχω πιεσόμετρο δίπλα μου εύκαιρο για να το τεστάρω.

  *Μετρήσεις: κλέβει πολύ πολύ λίγο σε βήματα. Δηλαδή αν κανω 100 βήματα θα μου γράψει 107. Τουλάχιστον τα μετράει όλα σε κάθε συνθήκη . Με το amazfit πήγαινα βόλτα με την γυναικα μου και το μωρό μπορεί να περπατούσαμε 2 χιλιόμετρα αλλά επειδή κρατούσα το καρότσι αυτό έπιανε ότι έκανα διάδρομο και δεν μετρούσε ούτε βήμα. Ευτυχώς αυτό δεν υπάρχει εδώ. Ο ύπνος είναι όσο μπορώ να καταλάβω σωστός και πιάνει και τους ύπνους το βράδυ, το μεσημέρι, στην δουλειά, στην ουρά για το ΙΚΑ, στο λεωφορείο και όπου τέλος πάντων κοιμηθείς αυτό θα το καταγράψει!

  Μπαταρία: σε καμία περίπτωση δεν είναι σαν το Huawei! Το gt2 έλεγε 14 μερες με όλα ανοιχτά και ήταν όντως 14 μερες!! Εδώ με την δική μου χρήση (Bluetooth ανοιχτό μόνο όταν μαγειρεύω, οδηγαω ή είμαι στο γραφείο και δεν έχω το κινητό δίπλα μου) κρατάει 4 μέρες. Σίγουρα είναι πολύ πιο λίγο από το gt2 αλλά και πάλι είναι αποδεκτό και δεν με κουράζει. Επίσης δεν ανησυχώ αν θα μείνω από μπαταρία γιατί μπορώ να το φορτίσω ασύρματα με το κινητό μου και να συνεχίσω να κάνω την δουλειά μου χωρίς να πρέπει να έχω τον φορτιστή του μαζί.

  Αν καταφέρατε και φτάσατε μέχρι εδώ, είναι ένα ρολόι που τα κάνει όλα, μπορείς να το συνδέσεις με ότι κινητό θες (android και ios). Είναι κομψό ρολόι μαζεμένο και όχι κανένα omnitrix που φορούσε ο Ben 10. Για εμένα και την δικιά μου χρήση αξίζει πάρα πολύ!! Η μπαταρία του με καλύπτει (προσοχή όμως μπορεί αν θέλετε να είναι συνδεδεμένο 24/7 και να βάζετε φουλ προγράμματα και GPS ίσως να μην βγάζει δεύτερη μέρα, οπότε ζυγιστε το πριν το αγοράσετε).

  Θεωρώ ότι το ρολόι έχει αδικηθεί πολύ στις κριτικές.
  Είμαι κάτοχος του τον τελευταίο 1,5 χρόνο. Το είχα αγοράσει στην τιμή των 270€, όχι στην τωρινή του. Αρχικά η εταιρία προσπαθεί να παντρέψει ένα smartwatch με ένα sportswatch. Γι' αυτό και σαφώς δεν διαθέτει τις μετρήσεις ενός garmin fenix 6 που είναι αμιγώς sportswatch(και φυσικά έχει την τριπλάσια τιμή) και ούτε έχει την αξιοπιστία της Apple σε λογισμικό κλπ(που έχει υπερδιπλάσια τιμή). Η Apple είναι μια κατηγορία μόνη της εξάλλου, δεν χρειάζεται να εξηγήσω το γιατί. Ωστόσο θεωρώ πολύ τίμιο το ρολόι και πολύ ανώτερο από τους βασικούς ανταγωνιστές του.
  -Οθόνη-Εμφάνιση: Έχει την 2η καλύτερη οθόνη που κυκλοφορεί στην αγορά-super amoled- αυτήν την στιγμή. Σε συνδυασμό με την κομψή εμφάνιση του το κάνει αρκετά διαφορετικό σε σχέση με τα περισσότερα smartwatch που θα δεις στην καθημερινότητα σου. Επίσης, υπάρχουν άπειρα watchfaces, να το φτιάξεις όπως θες και να τα αλλάζεις οπότε θες.
  -Λειτουργία: Διαθέτει αρκετές χρήσιμες εφαρμογές για να μη χρειάζεται να πιάνεις το κινητό καθε λίγο και αρκετές άχρηστες. Κλήσεις, μηνύματα, επαφές κανονικότατα, όπως τα έχεις και στο κινητό.
  -Αντοχή: Έχοντας την απαραίτητη προσοχή(με θήκες, τζαμάκια, κλπ) ουδέποτε μου έχει κολλήσει, ούτε καν έχει γρατζουνιστεί. Σαφώς και αν σε ενδιαφέρει να κάνεις ορειβασία, πεζοπορία κλπ θα πας σε κάτι πιο ανθεκτικό.
  -Οι μετρήσεις του είναι αρκετά καλές. Ίσως οι καρδιακοι παλμοί κατα την έντονη άσκηση να έχουν ένα 5-10% απόκλιση σε κάποιες φάσεις κι αυτό για λίγα δευτερόλεπτα.
  Το GPS του καλό, όχι τέλειο.
  Στον ύπνο μετράει με ακριβεια το πότε κοιμαμαι και πότε ξυπνάω, έχει ακρίβεια στον REM αλλά όχι τόσο στο deep sleep.
  Τα βήματα που μετράει έχουν πολύ ακρίβεια ειδικά όταν περπατάς συνεχόμενα. Εάν κανείς 5 βήματα, μετά σταματάς, μετά κάνεις άλλα 5,πιθανόν να μην στα μετράει όλα και θεωρώ πως το κάνει εσκεμμένα γιατί δεν έχει κάποιο νόημα. Όταν περπατάς συνεχόμενα έχει αρκετά μεγάλη ακρίβεια.
  Επίσης έχει δυνατότητα μετρήσεων σε πάρα πολλές ασκήσεις που δεν έχω δοκιμάσει την ακρίβεια του.
  Το καρδιογραφημα που διαθέτει είναι ακριβές. Δεν διατίθεται για κινητά μη samsung όμως υπάρχουν τρόποι να το κατεβάσεις.
  Η αρτηριακή πίεση θεωρώ πως είναι καθαρά marketing trick. Κάνεις κάποιο calibration με πραγματικό πιεσόμετρο. Δεν θα το εμπιστευομουν εάν είχα πρόβλημα με την πίεση μου.
  -Μπαταρία: Φορώντας το στον ύπνο μου, με always on display σχεδόν όλη μέρα, συνεχής μέτρηση καρδιακών παλμών, κάποιες κλήσεις και γενικά αρκετή ενασχόληση με το ρολόι, το βράδυ η μπαταρία είναι στο 40-50% που σημαίνει ότι θέλει φόρτιση κάθε μέρα. Προσωπικά για αυτά που παρέχει δεν το θεωρώ πρόβλημα. Επίσης, ρίξτε μια ματιά στα σχόλια του Apple watch όσον αφορά την μπαταρία πριν βγάλετε πορίσματα.
  -Αδιάβροχο: Ουδέποτε το τεσταρα σε κολύμπι, εάν και έχει υποτίθεται λειτουργία, ωστόσο έχω διαβάσει κάποια αρνητικά σχόλια σχετικά με αυτό, κυρίως για θάλασσα. Εάν ήμουν κολυμβητής σίγουρα δεν θα το έπαιρνα. Foul της Samsung πάντως.
  -Συνδεσιμοτητα: Για ένα διάστημα είχα θέμα διότι δεν έχω κινητό Samsung. Πλέον είναι πολύ καλή και σταθερή.
  Εν κατακλείδι, θεωρώ πως στην κατηγορία τιμών μέχρι 300-350€ είναι από τις ποιοτικότερες επιλογές αυτήν την στιγμή.Για την τιμή που είναι τώρα δεν το συζητάμε καν. Μπορείτε να κάνετε search στις κριτικές ρολογιών κορυφαίων εταιρειών σε αυτήν την τιμή, πχ garmin και θα δείτε ότι κι εκεί κράζουν. Στα μόνα που δεν κράζουν οι χρήστες είναι τα huawei και τα xiaomi που προφανώς δεν έχουν μέτρο σύγκρισης και τα βλέπουν όλα τέλεια. Εξαρτάται πάντα από το τι ψάχνεις. Εάν είσαι χρήστης Apple, κολυμβητής, ορειβάτης ή επαγγελματίας αθλητής δεν θα σε καλύψει. Εάν είσαι όλα τα άλλα σε ΥΠΕΡΚΑΛΥΠΤΕΙ.

  The negatives are:

  I bought it used for 90 euros. I used it with a Galaxy Note 10 Plus. With all functions open, it lasts for 3 days. Obviously, with other brands, it loses synchronization and consumes battery. The aesthetic aspect is subjective, so it doesn't need commentary. Personally, I liked it because it is simple. Functionally, I was satisfied, I also made calls with decent quality. Overall, it served me well until I put it in the sea (stupidly), but how can you swim without water? Obviously, the device is not waterproof and Samsung made a mistake. Within an hour, it simply died.... I will buy it again, but I won't put it in the sea.

  I had the watch for about a year. Overall, it functioned well during this time. However, recently it started disconnecting from my phone frequently and sometimes overheating. Recently, I forgot and wore it in the sea (not diving, just in shallow water while holding my baby). As soon as I got out, it started heating up like crazy, and I had to take it off my hand to avoid getting burned. After it cooled down, I held down the power button. It went into rebooting mode, displayed it on the screen along with the logo, and then died forever. Searching on the internet, I realized that I'm not the only one experiencing these issues. There is a lot of criticism on Samsung's official forum regarding:
  - frequent disconnections
  - burns on the hand
  - destruction of the watch after contact with water or moisture, where after contacting their support, they asked for 200 euros due to water contact (note that the watch boasts swim tracking - I imagine virtual swimming without water to avoid moisture).

  I don't think I will deal with Samsung watches for a long time, even though I own many gadgets from the company

  Αγόρασα πριν από ένα εξάμηνο περίπου το συγκεκριμένο ρολόι για να με βοηθήσει στο κομμάτι της άσκησης. Ενώ σε γενικές απόψεις είναι πολύ καλό δηλαδή, άψογη ποιότητα, οθόνη λογισμικό. Έχει το μεγαλύτερο αρνητικό το με το οποίο ξεχνάς ό,τι καλό σου προσφέρει. Μαξ 12 ώρες λειτουργείας και εννοείται κάθε λίγο και λιγάκι φόρτιση. Έχω παρατηρήσει πως χαμηλώνοντας την φωτεινότητα, βάζοντας ελαφρύ theme, χωρίς πολλά animations και info δηλαδή συν ότι απενεργοποιώ να μου μετράει συνεχώς το heartbeat εκεί ίσως κερδίζω και 5 ώρες. Πάντως μια μέρα με δυσκολία την βγάζει. Δεν προτείνω σε κανένα άτομο το οποίο συνεχώς είναι εκτός σπιτιού όπως εγώ να προβεί στην αγορά του. Καθώς θα σας μείνει από μπαταρία.
  ΥΓ: ξέχασα να αναφέρω πως πολλές φορές αντιμετωίζω θέμα με τη σύνδεση μέσω bluetooth για το κινητό καθώς δεν ανταποκρίνεται σωστά η εφαρμογή.
  ΥΓ1: δεν έχω samsung κινητό στην περίπτωση που θα μπορούσε να παίζει σε κάτι ρόλο.

  The most wasted money in my life. The battery lasts 1 day without even using it, without having BT or WiFi on. The connection with the Huawei phone is terrible and the functions are very basic for a 250 euro watch.

  I have had the watch for 1 and a half years and yesterday it just went crazy. The screen doesn't work and random buttons are being pressed. A quick Google search shows that almost all these models experience this after a few months of use.

  Pure disappointment from Samsung!

  I also decided to write a review. I have been an Apple Watch owner from 2016 to 2019 (which worked perfectly, even with swimming in the sea, etc., but I got bored of the classic Apple designs, so I decided to sell it and get a Galaxy Watch since my spouse was very satisfied with the Gear S3 they had.
  So, I bought the Active 2 on 31/12/2019, it worked fine until yesterday (the only downsides were the battery, which barely lasted from 7 in the morning until midnight, and the constant disconnection from my iPhone XR, many times I couldn't easily reconnect it).
  Yesterday, on 24/6/2021, the watch started flashing and the screen went blank at some point... I haven't taken it to be checked yet to see what's wrong...
  However, it hasn't been dropped.
  Disappointing...
  It lasted only 1.5 years...
