For the money it is what it is, it's great. For budget builds it's very good. It has all the necessary connections. Its UEFI is up to date. I plugged in an R3 2200G and 16GB of RAM and everything runs smoothly. If I had the choice again, maybe I would spend a little more money to get a better one.
Purchased for an economical office build (basic + essential) and combined with Corsair Vengeance 32g, Samsung 980Pro M2 SSD, and AMD Ryzen 7 5700G. It had no issues with both the memory and other recognized subsystems. The drivers on the MSI website are relatively up-to-date, which I consider a positive detail! Not anything remarkable as a motherboard, but it does its job decently. Just be careful with what you connect to it because in this category, you don't expect great flexibility in supported hardware. Overall, it's decent!
I give it 5 stars, but it is a motherboard that has the necessary components to run a non-demanding system, at a price of €50 that I think is the best value for money (vfm) as it also supports overclocking. Whoever plans to add several fans and ports to the motherboard, it is better to go for another solution
I have it with a Ryzen 3600, I had overclocked it to 4.3 without any problems. Now I have undervolted it to 4.2 for better temperatures. The Crucial Ballistix 3600 RAM had the XMP enabled right away and it also has recommended overclocking speeds. I pushed it to 3733 MHz with 16 CL without touching any settings, no problems, and also 3600 MHz with 14 CL. For fans, it only has one port, luckily I had an extension. The M2 970 Evo Plus was detected right away, I have it with an HDD and haven't had any issues yet. I updated the BIOS when I first got it about 5-6 months ago, everything was fine, now I'm waiting to see what happens with the AGESA 1.2.0.7 update
I put the two stars because they are the most economical. It burned in 9 months, the repair is not cost-effective in terms of cost and time. It needs 10€ for transportation to the store, to be checked, if it is burned they will send it to Germany for inspection and replacement. Live my May to eat clover.
In terms of money, it is a one-way street for a budget PC with AM4 that supports RAM at 3600 with the latest BIOS update. Before it started acting strange (restarting 3-4 times and going back to 2666), I don't think there is a better choice for a PC in the range of 220-300€. It has 2 slots for high-speed RAM, supports 5000AMD, has a large number of connections, relatively good construction quality, and a price of 45€ with the B450 chip. There are two things I consider negative or rather that are missing: one is the lack of a VGA port (which should be included for a budget PC) and the two RAM slots (although it supports dual)
B450 at 40 euros that supports high frequency RAM and NVMe is a great opportunity. It works immediately with 2X16 Corsair 3000 MHz, CL16 RGB. Since it only has 2 RAM slots, at least put 2X8 to be covered in the future. It came with a Ryzen 3000 ready sticker, but it also supports Athlon with AM4 socket instantly. The BIOS is easy to manage and with an update, it can support the Ryzen 5000 series (although I wouldn't recommend anything more powerful than the 5600X on a budget motherboard). There's no reason to go for A320 to save less than 10 euros.
In the box it says it supports Athlon X4, in the manual it says it supports Athlon X4, but it doesn't appear anywhere on the list. Thank you MSI, and I was wondering why the system won't turn on.
Apart from that, it works and has fan curve control in the bios. But the 24 and 8 pin slots are tight, the psu wouldn't come out compared to other motherboards.
Update: I had problems with m2 nvme, it didn't show up in the bios, I was scratching my head for hours, it's the motherboard's fault. I saw a similar problem with MSI mobos z97. I tried the ssd on an asrock motherboard and it showed up and worked. Good luck removing the motherboard now, I'll probably get a sata. Get one from gigabyte or another manufacturer.
Just the basics. I put in the RYZEN 5 2600X, 8GB 3200 memory, and a Kingston SSD with a GTX770, and it started up fine. What else does someone want?
I have a surprise, it is really a very good motherboard while I have connected it with an r5 2600x. It has satisfactory sram even though it is not four for 60 euros, this motherboard is definitely worth it. It has two RAM slots that support up to 4000mhz speed, which is really amazing. It is also very easy to install. It has spaces for m2 slots and also has onboard graphics and a PCI-Express port to connect any graphics card you have available. Overall, it is simply amazing. Congratulations
Unbelievable motherboard for 60 euros! I have combined it with a Ryzen 5 2600, Be quiet pure power 11 500w, GT 1030 OC, G-SKILL AEGIS 8GB DDR4-3000Mhz, TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 and it has impressed me...! I haven't done any overclocking, but I don't think it's necessary thanks to the DDR4 BOOST and CORE BOOST it has... It also supports the 3rd generation RYZEN, so it has room for upgrades, it has 4 USB 3.0 and 2 USB 2.0 which I consider to be enough... As for the mentioned BOOSTs, they automatically increase the memory and processor performance in heavy programs and games! Get it with your eyes closed!
Whoever buys it should check if it has the appropriate BIOS for the CPU they will use.
This motherboard is worth the money, I have nothing more to say than what others have already mentioned. It supports even the latest generation Ryzen processors, has good build quality, and I am very satisfied with the 60 euros I spent. The only thing that bothers me and why I give it a 4 out of 5 is that it only has 2 RAM slots, which may not be suitable for more demanding users who want to add more RAM.
I have it only for 1 month, it's great, I give it four because I am satisfied so far. If I had it for a longer time, I would be able to tell you more about its value, it is very good for the money.
Very good motherboard takes very fast memories ideal without spending a lot of money for a good PC build The best motherboard for its money
Although it only has 2 ram slots, it is one of the best choices for Ryzen processors in terms of value for money.
