The best I have ever used. It withstood and pulled out a 3.5 kg octopus from the sea. Its shots are flawless (although many factors play a role in a shot), it is durable, it has fallen five times on rocks due to strong wind and it hasn't suffered any damage. Especially if you are starting out with casting or surf casting, this is definitely the fishing rod you should buy. Now I will also get the same one in the three-piece version for more possibilities. 100g weight is all you need to do a lot. Not more!

The second shot broke with an 80g weight and there doesn't seem to be any mistake in the shot, as shown in the photo, it appears to have broken due to a material defect and not from impact or something else. The rod broke from 3 guides. Review for the 200cw

The only fishing rod in my life that broke and I threw away on the second fishing trip. The last section got stuck upside down and couldn't be unstuck at all. Where I took it, they couldn't do anything... Unfortunately, it didn't even last a day and after 4 months of inactivity due to work, it broke in my hands just by pulling its parts!!!! After contacting Shimano's representative, they told me that it is not covered by warranty because, according to them, I pulled it too hard and broke it myself... and very rudely they told me that if I want to send it for repair, it will cost me 25€ plus shipping! My mistake was choosing Shimano after all, because when I made the purchase, I thought it had a 3-year warranty! And that the representative was friendly...!!! It is the Alivio 200gr, although it doesn't matter much. The point where it broke is not justified to have broken during transportation... I have been fishing for over 20 years with rods and I have rods that I have been using for over 10 years... I wouldn't be ashamed to admit that I broke it myself, nor would I think about the cost!!! Just never Shimano again!!!
