The branches are made of hard plastic with a fir tree design only at their edge, before the middle of the branch and down to the base is the usual material of Christmas trees and not fir tree type, resulting in a somewhat noticeable difference and flimsiness. It would be much better if the entire branch had the texture and material of its edge. The branches are integrated but as they mimic fir tree, they are smaller and thinner and with the two different textures and materials, they require a good opening and possibly many ornaments and fillings to hide the gaps. The base is metallic. It is not exactly as it appears in the photo....
