Quite convenient multi-purpose sharpener. The main use I make of it is as a sharpener and to open paint cans. I haven't used the tool for a roller yet, but I imagine it will be okay. One negative thing I can find is that it would be better if the handle wasn't plastic but metal, so you could use it for applying pressure on something. I think a Stanley sharpener I saw has this feature.
