Morris MDP16300i Dehumidifier ideal for spaces up to 80m2, with a moisture collection capacity of 16lt/24h, with ionizer, 4-stage air purification function, and 4lt water tank capacity.

4-stage air purification function

Ionizer that removes odors, dust, and smoke from the air, providing you with a healthy and fresh atmosphere.

Pre-filter with Nano silver coating. The pre-filter traps large particles while its Nano Silver coating offers additional antibacterial action.

Activated carbon filter. It retains toxic gaseous pollutants and odors that come from chemicals, cigarette smoke, exhaust fumes, cooking, etc.

Ultraviolet light (UV light), which breaks the molecular bonds of microorganisms such as germs, viruses, fungi, and bacteria, neutralizing them.

Silent operation

Low noise level 37dB (A) at low fan speed. The very low noise level allows for the creation of an ideal environment during your night's sleep or at any other time you need quiet.

Ability to turn the lighting on or off at the front of the device. You can turn off the lighting so it doesn't bother you or turn it on so it can also function as a night light.

Large water tank with a capacity of 4 liters to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the device for many hours. Empty the water tank and place it back in its position with a simple motion. The device will continue its operation automatically.

Practical solutions for ease of use

Handle and fully rotating wheels for easy transportation of the dehumidifier.

Lighting at the front, based on humidity levels:

  • < 60% the light turns blue,

Smart dehumidification function. The "smart" function is designed for maximum convenience, maintaining room humidity between 50% and 55%, while also saving electricity.

Automatic louver movement. There is an option to choose from one of the 3 available settings. Continuous movement, fixed at a 45° angle, and fixed at a 90° angle.


Laundry drying function

Dry your clothes quickly, easily, and economically. With Morris dehumidifiers, drying clothes becomes a breeze all year round. Place the portable clothes rack in a (preferably small) room with the door closed. Position the dehumidifier near the clothes and select the clothes drying function from the remote control. Your clothes will dry in a short time while the space remains dry as all the moisture will end up in the dehumidifier's water tank.

Smart Remote Control with i-Feel Function

The built-in humidity sensor in the remote control can detect the humidity at the point where you need it, and automatically adjusts the dehumidifier's operation based on this measurement via infrared. This way, you can precisely control the humidity in specific areas, such as the baby's crib, places with items vulnerable to moisture (like artworks), etc.

Innovative Design

Permanent connection to drainage. With the continuous drainage function, forget about emptying the water tank forever. Simply connect the included drainage hose to the device and place it in the drain siphon. 

Smart control function for better control of the device's operation. When the room's humidity reaches the desired levels, the device completely stops its operation. After 30 minutes, only the device's fan starts to ensure accurate humidity measurement.

Timer function with which you can automatically set the activation or deactivation of the device. This way, you can schedule the device's operation according to your needs and additionally reduce power consumption.

Security and Protection

  • Overflow protection. When the water tank is full, the dehumidifier automatically stops operating and the full tank warning indicator is activated.
  • Compressor protection. In case of restarting the device after a shutdown, there is a 3-minute delay before the compressor starts again.
  • Smart defrost. When the room sensor detects that the temperature is very low, the device automatically enters defrost mode and then returns to the previous operating state.
  • Automatic restart system after a power outage, the unit automatically starts in the operating state it was in before the outage.

I will say a few words to help someone. I have had over 7-8 dehumidifiers in my hands, never Morris. I decided to buy 2, the 20300 and the 16400 wireless. They are identical models, so I will talk about one. The build quality is mediocre to poor, cheap plastic, generally looks Chinese, someone will say that's a small issue, as long as it works well. Secondly, the noise, the compressor gives a vibration and a noise like an old refrigerator struggling, unbearable, nothing like any dehumidifier I have had or seen working with my own eyes. Thirdly, they deceive people about the activated carbon filter. It has a basic mesh filter for nothing and the carbon filter is a peel that covers 1/3 of the filter. In other words, it is COMPLETELY useless, marketing, whatever they call it. Essentially, the dehumidifier does not have a filter. It costs 220 euros and for 250 euros you can get an Inventor XL20 that has a true HEPA filter, is COMPLETELY silent (I know because I bought it for my parents a month ago), and its build quality is like comparing a Fiat to a Porsche. Whoever wants to listen to me, stay away from Morris, the ultimate Chinese product, go to other companies like Inventor and Toyotomi, for example, SUPERIOR dehumidifiers. Finally, I wonder about those who write positive reviews (probably it is their first dehumidifier and they had no point of comparison, I can't justify it otherwise). So, when they opened the carbon filter and realized that it only covered 1/3 of the air intake and that it is a peel, they liked it? Oh, I almost forgot, the humidity percentages on the dehumidifier and the remote control, nonsense! Checked with a precision instrument I have for humidity. The indications on the dehumidifier are so inaccurate that I put it in a room with a wet clothes rack, confirmed by 2 instruments I have, it had 80% humidity and the Morris showed 44%, we are talking about such mistakes. Fortunately, there is also the option to return them and I have both for a refund. Let me put it differently, if a good Inventor, for example, costs 250 euros, the right price for the Morris would be 80 euros. I hope to save people with my evaluation...

    Very good dehumidifier, initially it is beautiful in terms of design and does not ruin the aesthetics inside the house. It has an automatic program for the correct adjustment of humidity inside the house, without drying out the air excessively (however, someone can also adjust it themselves to the desired level). It has a laundry program for drying clothes (it has saved me especially during winter!!!!). The tank is large and does not fill up easily. Finally, it has an ionization system with a lamp (personally, I do not use it). Easily removable filters for cleaning them!!

    I have been using it every day for three months. In a space of 30 sq. m., it reduces humidity from 70-75% to 45-55% in about two hours at maximum intensity. It also cleans the air of odors due to the carbon filter it has. The noise it makes, even at the highest setting, does not bother me during the day. The only issue I have is that only two of the four wheels move in all directions, making it difficult to move from one spot to another. I recommend it as a good dehumidifier ionizer.

    - After a year, it works perfectly. I placed it in a basement to reduce humidity, and it runs continuously as long as the humidity is above 50%.

    In a 13sqm bedroom with closed windows because our baby is 5 months old and wakes up easily with noises, the humidity was reaching 75/79% when the air conditioner (a new Toyotomi) was set at 25/26 degrees. When we set it to 23 degrees, the humidity dropped to 63%.

    With the Morris 16300i dehumidifier, in Sleep mode, it feels like it's not even plugged in. Zero noise. The air conditioner is set at 26 degrees and the humidity goes down from 75/79% to 45-47%.

    It's the best. You can feel the air with your nose, that's how clean it is. I don't regret spending 249 euros on it. Go ahead and get it without any fear.

    In my possession for the last 2 months. Since the day it was purchased, it has not turned off except when we leave the house. The dehumidifier works for a space of 60sqm but it is also suitable for larger spaces. However, the layout of the house also plays a role, meaning if the house is in a straight line and it is placed in the middle, it will do the job but not as effectively as it should, it needs to be distributed in the rooms (in my opinion). The tank easily lasts for 8 hours when full. Personally, because I have a lot of humidity during the winter and especially on rainy days, it works at its full capacity. In terms of noise, it is like a turbo air conditioner and it also depends on the person, meaning it doesn't bother me and I can sleep even with the regular function. At night, we put it on sleep mode, in which the lighting is turned off and everything is fine. It is definitely worth the money, I highly recommend it!

    In the 2 years of use, the screen that displays the humidity month by month completely faded and they want 20€ just for the replacement board. Of course, it is not covered by the warranty since 2 years have passed. It does the job, although I haven't tried another brand to compare. It makes quite a bit of noise on full power. However, if you put it on low, it doesn't work properly. The key is to suck in as much air as possible while the compressor is running.

    Like all dehumidifiers, it needs to be cleaned every year because the coil gets clogged with dust and it is very difficult to open the plastic parts. It has many screws, so screws need to be removed in order to clean it properly.

    I don't know if it's a normal function, but it makes a noise (I don't know how to describe it. It's like the neighbor is using a drill or something like that). When it's operating, it exceeds the decibels stated in the specifications by far. I have it in the hallway of the house, I close the door of the room and I can still hear it. For example, if it operates for 30 minutes, it makes a noise of 25. I informed Morris, sent it to the service, they told me it needed an adjustment but the noise continues normally. I'm not talking about the sound of the air it emits. There is a loud noise. It operates silently and suddenly something "starts up" inside, a metallic sound is heard, and then this noise.

    If the sound is normal (in Smart mode), then it is not silent, not by any means. If it is not normal, then the dehumidifier is problematic and the company refuses to do anything about it.

I don't hear it... yes, when you put it on high, it is loud, but don't be overly dramatic, it's like an air conditioner on turbo... as for the build quality, it's fine... both Morris and Inventor are made in China... they are of the same quality... I have worked with both of them... with Morris being slightly better... when commenting, try to describe your own experiences and not be biased... as for the negatives, maybe the tank could be better, but it doesn't fill up quickly and why would it, I don't have excessive humidity... update: the humidity remains consistently low... I have placed it in the living room and the performance is sufficient for all three rooms...
