In the era of rapid technological advancements we live in, where everything is done with "unnatural" ease, it is expected that children become addicted to this ease, becoming soft and rarely using their minds. Therefore, engaging them in an activity like music, which stimulates the mind and emotions and whose result is purely their own creation, may be the best way to escape the intellectual and emotional stagnation that threatens them. The inherent need of humans to express themselves on various levels is satisfied in the best way through learning a musical instrument. Just think about how much more beneficial it is for a child's intellectual development to produce a note by striking a string with the press of a key on a computer or remote control. Moreover, dozens of scientific studies have shown that children who learn a musical instrument have a higher intelligence quotient and almost zero delinquency compared to others of the same age. This book aspires to be an ideal introduction to the world of music, specifically the guitar, for young children.

Starting a child on the violin or cello at the age of five is not only acceptable, but necessary, especially since these instruments grow in size as the child develops. With the guitar, things were different (until a few years ago). Children reached the age of 10-12 before starting to learn it. Today, this is no longer the case, as it is considered very natural for a six-year-old child to want to play the guitar. To meet this need, "Mikro Resital" was created. It is intended for preschool and elementary school children.

"Mikro Resital" is not a "guitar method," but was created to guide the child in their first steps, without insulting their intelligence. It contains familiar and unfamiliar melodies and songs, arranged in such a way that each one adds a new element related to notes, values, rhythms, fingerings, etc. Thus, by completing these 62 "lessons," the child will have a somewhat complete picture of the guitar and its technique.
