Amazing build quality. Very sturdy, excellent materials, side glass that I find for the first time in a case, heavy-duty. Power supply on top, excellent cable management space, I have installed all the PCIe cables from a 1200 platinum so that I don't have to search for them or lose them, not even to push them in. On the side, it accommodates water cooling, I installed a 2x120mm radiator, great temperatures, not recommended as an intake. As an intake, I have installed 3 cheap Arctic 120 fans at the bottom, at least 5-10 degrees lower than with 3 graphics cards that I have tested, you won't find it in any other case. With air cooling, things are very good, I have replaced the rear fan with an Arctic RGB, it also helps the power supply which also exhausts due to its position, so things are at very good levels, not like in the GPU which is simply top-notch. It accommodates graphics cards 4090 and definitely 5090, and it will still be sufficient for many years to come! In conclusion, beautiful, sturdy, unprecedented build quality after hundreds of NZXT, be quiet, Zalman, Cooler Master cases that all seem like tin cans for bread compared to this case. I recommend it to everyone, it's for a lifetime
I have already used the same case twice. Once in white (as long as it was available...) and then in black.
The positives:
1) It uses internal liquid cooling for up to 240 AIO (for those who prefer it).
2) It has 3 fans at the bottom for direct GPU cooling, with a removable and washable filter.
3) It has huge modding capabilities.
4) It includes an internal support to prevent GPU sagging, which was helpful for the 3070Ti TUF that I used in the black one.
5) Perhaps the size of the 3070Ti TUF (300mm) is the absolute limit if you use AIO liquid cooling. In the photo, the 3070Ti TUF is combined with the Arctic 240, which has a thick radiator, and you can see how snugly it fits.
The negatives:
1) On the top side, where the motherboard ends, there is almost no space and it requires countless tricks to hide any cables that are there.
2) The back (side) does have cutouts for air intake/exhaust, but the airflow is limited.
3) For those who get the version with RGB fans (there is also a version without any fans and a much lower price, but it rarely appears here), be aware that the fans have low CFM and are connected with 3 pins. So, for proper cooling, calculate for an additional 4 120mm fans.
Owner here for 1 month.. With Ryzen7 3800x liquid cooling 240 in push/pull config, I had a problem with the top fan of the liquid cooling. Specifically, the air did not reach the top fan.. I was concerned and decided to reverse the back fan so that it would not function as an exhaust but as an intake.. I achieved -5 degrees in the stress test, I just made a filter from an old box and stuck it on the back side with Velcro.. This resulted in minimal dust.. And the system running at higher clock speeds..
This box is the best, it's 100/100 for gaming and as for the speed, you can reach it at 1 terabyte
We have here the Sharkoon case. It is a very beautiful case, quite inspired by nzxt, with a minimalist design. On the front side, we have an empty space, without branding, without airflow cuts, which is removable by unscrewing 6 screws from the inside of the case. When we remove it, it reveals a slot for 2 fans 120mm/140mm or a 240mm/280mm radiator. Here, I should mention that this is the only spot in the entire case that can accommodate a 140mm fan. But we have the following problem. While there is a slot, there is no opening for this fan/radiator to receive air. So it's useless. Only in my case, someone would have to go through the process of opening their own cuts. On the top part, we find a button with an illuminated ring, which also functions as an HDD LED, 2 USB3 ports, and a button with 2 functions. One is like a reset button and the other changes the color of the 4 fans provided inside the case. Now let's talk about the fans. Beautiful, I must say, but excessively noisy. They are argb with a 3-pin cable, so in case the motherboard doesn't support it (like mine), the only way to change the lighting is through the aforementioned button. However, if we connect this button to both the motherboard's reset and the case's controller located at the back, where all the RGB fan management cables go, then the color does NOT change. And the computer doesn't even reset. The fans remain in a white color and there is flickering. They are not 4-pin PWM but classic 3-pin fans that cannot have their speed adjusted. What surprised me was that I couldn't change their speed even with voltage (supported by the motherboard: Asus Rog Maximus VII Hero Alpha), while with other 3-pin fans, I didn't encounter the same problem. In the end, all the fans were replaced with CoolerMaster Silencio and I finally had some peace and quiet. Moving on to cable management, it is quite easy due to the large space left in the top part where the power supply goes, allowing us to tuck away excess cables. There are several cutouts inside the case for easy cable routing. As for filtering, we have a removable filter for the 3 fans at the bottom. In terms of airflow inside the case, when I tested it with steam, I saw that the 3 bottom fans work as follows: the 2 rear ones blow directly onto the graphics card (which helped a lot), and the 3rd one, which is near the front part of the case, blows upwards. Somewhere there, for a short period of time, a "vortex" is created between the glass and the power supply shroud. All of this until the CPU cooler (which works in push/pull and has an exhaust fan) kicks in. Overall, though, I am very pleased with the temperatures. The paint, while good on the external part of the case, seems to have only one layer on the inside, resulting in easy scratching. The case stands are plastic and seem to be of poor quality, but I haven't seen any issues, the case sits firmly. The tempered glass is tinted with a plastic frame around it. I should mention that the sticker on top can be easily removed without leaving any adhesive residue. As for the panels, they fit into the case by "clicking" them inwards. We have the usual screws at the back, but they are not sliding, which makes closing the panel with all the cables very easy. In general, this case is a good choice for someone looking for a minimalist aesthetic. They have definitely cut some quality stages to provide it to us at this price. It has space inside and is easy to set up. For someone who wants to go for nzxt (and I say this from experience coming from H440), they should consider that the H510 does not have as much space inside as this one, and the cost will increase. The case is recommended, regardless of its flaws, it offers an nzxt experience visually without the cost.
Sturdy construction with minimal design and good cable management.
The fans are very reliable and relatively quiet. I have installed a 240mm CPU AIO next to the motherboard with 2 identical Sharkoon fans, which cool very well and the aesthetic result is amazing.
