In the 3rd edition of the work "Law of Commercial Companies," particular emphasis is placed on the analysis of the new Law 4548/2018 for the Public Limited Company (as it currently stands after Laws 4587/2018 and 4601/2019), which replaced Law 2190/1920, abolishing it after almost a century of application. This edition also takes into account and highlights the amendments made, albeit to a lesser extent, to the other laws concerning commercial companies. These include Law 3190/1955 on Limited Liability Companies, which was amended by Laws 4541/2018 and 4601/2019, and Law 4072/2012, which underwent amendments by Laws 4541/2018 and 4601/2019, regarding, on the one hand, the regulations on General Partnerships, Limited Partnerships, and Joint Ventures, and on the other hand, the regulations on Private Capital Companies.

Finally, in a separate chapter, Law 4601/2019 is independently developed, which for the first time regulates corporate transformations in a unified manner and abolishes the individual related provisions that applied to each of the commercial companies.

This edition, which is legislatively updated until August 2019, aims to familiarize students, as well as legal theorists and practitioners, with the "new legislative environment" concerning commercial companies.
