When the ventilator is not in use, the automatic shutters remain closed, preventing cold air and unpleasant odors from entering the space, thus avoiding heat loss in the winter.

The automatic shutter is controlled by a thermoelectric mechanism that opens the diaphragm approximately 30 seconds after the ventilator is activated. When the ventilator is deactivated, the shutter automatically closes after about 30 seconds.
