How should we live properly in a world of chaos and uncertainty?
Jordan Peterson has helped millions of people, young and old, men and women, aim at a life of responsibility and meaning. Now he can help you.
Drawing on his own work as a clinical psychologist and on lessons from humanity's oldest myths and stories, Peterson offers twelve profound and realistic principles to live by. After all, as he reminds us, we each have a vital role to play in the unfolding destiny of the world.
Deep, rewarding and enlightening, 12 Rules for Life is a lifeboat built solidly for stormy seas: ancient wisdom applied to our contemporary problems.

I was excited to start this book and to tell you the truth, it seems interesting. With rain and a hot coffee from Nicosia
Another psychology and self-improvement book, which, although it starts with nice ideas, ends up shoving its religious proselytism down your throat. While its ideas are powerful in many aspects, it ultimately concludes in half-baked cases that everything is God's will, and that He is above everything, and how even if you are an atheist, He still made you this way, etc.
It's a shame because I expected it to be more valuable, based on the radical views I had heard from time to time.
I can't understand how someone can characterize the book as "unbearably verbose". It is a true gem for the humanities, coming from one of the brightest minds of our time. The book combines elements of literature, allegory, and intense philosophical contemplation on issues that have preoccupied society for centuries. Would I recommend it to someone? Absolutely! Do I believe that this book can be understood at its core? I would say that without the relevant knowledge background and the necessary patience, it is quite difficult, although Jordan Peterson has done a wonderful job in helping the reader understand the main message as much as possible. 5/5.
It is a likable book with useful ideas, but unbearable verbosity. Out of the 368 pages of rules, a little over half have substance. It also has strong elements of literature and allegory, something that personally made me lose interest and start skipping pages. However, for anyone who has patience, it is worth reaching the end.
The book presents a wide range of philosophical concepts in a fairly accessible way for the average reader. It is worth studying :)
