I have had the box for about 9 months, it is perfect, it has proper airflow, I would buy it again especially if you put better fans in it, it is a great beast
Guys, for an average user without excessive demands, it is a fantastic case..4 years without complaint. Yes, it could have slightly stronger fans, but for the money, you can make a small effort to get 2 stronger ones. Because technology is advancing at a rapid pace. Pay attention to the length and width of the graphics card and cooler because things have changed since then.
It is flawless and very elegant, I have installed a GPU 1660 Super and a CPU 5600x and they perform very well in terms of temperature, but it needs 2 more fans specifically for the summer.
Very good case, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a medium-sized and elegant case. Very easy to assemble, very good for cable management, plenty of space to fit almost everything.
Guys, I have been the owner of this for 1 year now. It is very beautiful and relatively spacious in general!
The ONLY negative thing about this case is its airflow, which is non-existent, so be careful with this aspect, add other reliable fans to keep your head cool for gaming in the summer.
Premium case. The only downside I would say is that it doesn't have much space at the back for cables. I had read that airflow is an issue, so I added two more fans for that
Excellent case. Beautifully quiet. The cable management is awesome. It comes with two pre-installed 140mm fans, completely silent. I have simply added two more fans. High-quality construction with multiple filters. Worth every euro I have spent.
I received it a week ago and replaced my old system. For a midi tower, it is very spacious and it really does what it promises.
Its color is carbon gray and it matches all spaces.
The installation spaces for the PSU, the drives (SSD and separate cage for HDD), and the cooler (if you have liquid cooling) are well-designed and do not take up space from each other.
Even with an ATX motherboard, there is enough room for the air to circulate comfortably inside the case.
Its factory fans (not RGB) are quiet and dust has a hard time getting inside. This also depends on how often you clean and the space where the case is located ;)
It comes with plenty of cables and screws for the power supply, drives, and motherboard, so don't worry if you lose any.
Very convenient cable management on the back of the motherboard. It gives you many options to tie the cables as you wish (especially the PSU) and avoid a mess.
It is a very good case, with excellent materials, very good construction, spacious, and very beautiful. Generally, it has been mentioned by previous users.
The reason it receives 2 stars is because its airflow is unacceptable. With two 140mm fans placed in the front, the amount of incoming air is minimal, resulting in the graphics card struggling a lot, while the hard drive compartment is not cooled at all due to its design. The side grilles of the front cover restrict the airflow, so no matter how hard the fans try, they cannot provide satisfactory results. During the summer, I have to use it with the front cover completely removed because after a short gaming session, the graphics card overheats. Obviously, the company noticed the problem, which is why in the Pure Base 500DX model, the entire front is now perforated.
Additionally, the case I received, although it was properly sealed, when I opened it, I found that all the magnets it had on the upper removable metal cover had come off and were wandering inside the nylon packaging. It's a minor issue, but it seems to have slipped through the quality control at the factory.
If you want it for a gaming system, it is better to choose the DX.
It passes the test almost in everything! (Quiet, relatively good quality construction, good cable management, beautiful, with many filters and it seems that the spaces have been designed. A big advantage are the two pre-installed 140mm fans.
It has one problem that costs me (not necessarily everyone). The case for the 3.5" (HDD) hard drives in the basement compartment, next to the power supply, is not effectively ventilated (it has a small gap while the previous thermaltake matrix I had was perforated).
The result: With the change of the case, my hard drives had +5 degrees Celsius. If it's winter... you don't care, if you don't have HDD, you don't care... But if it's summer with room/ambient temperature of 27 degrees, your hard drives will overheat (up to 35 in the old case)!!
Unfortunately, this is not acceptable for an 80 euro case in 2021 that replaced a 15-year-old case and was even cheaper (50).
Unfortunately, what they say, that you give you take, is not true. In this specific case, for this case, in my personal opinion, there is nothing better and valuable. The reasons why I bought it were only 2. I have a large CPU cooler, the dark rock pro 4, and visually it clicked for me, so I ended up here. It is indeed wide, as others say, excellent quality with glass and not plexiglass, good cable management although this is completely subjective for everyone, and quiet because there are even sponges in screws to absorb the noise. It's definitely value for money and you will remember me.
Awesome box, spacious and with good cable management. It is also incredibly quiet, filters dust from everywhere, and maintains low temperatures. It is a bit bulky (wide). It easily fits a triple refrigerator in the front, but it is a bit difficult even for a double on top. It comes with 2 140mm fans that have a triple plug and not a quadruple one. I was very satisfied with both the appearance and the build quality.
Fantastic box. It could cost more and still be worth it.
Silent as can be, even with the top cover which is a filter, meaning without offering sound insulation.
The air is distributed very efficiently (the two pre-installed 140mm fans are truly monsters, and of course silent at full speed).
Design-wise, I find it beautiful, which is why I preferred the version with the side window instead of the cheaper one without.
I would definitely recommend it.
Before anyone makes the move, you say, "hey my child, it's cheap enough for the budget I can afford, is it worth it? Should I go for something more expensive, what is it missing?
Design-wise excellent, the comments convince you about its soundproofing.. so what's left? Maybe it's not such a high-quality construction to cost that much..
You buy it with this risk..
You open it.. and gradually your satisfaction escalates.. You are left speechless with how user-friendly, thoughtfully built, and perfectly structured it is, until the moment you press the button and the moment of truth arrives.. That moment when it will prove itself or not, and the last euro. Completely silent.. Like entering a hybrid with a tractor..
Children without reservation! Just take it and don't let the value bother you.. Even if it did everything next to it, the choice demands it..!
Unbelievable case. Very high quality with 2 fans and for me beautiful in its simplicity. However, the most important thing is that it is amazing in cable management. I highly recommend it. It is one of the best options for setting up a high quality and silent system
I bought the white one, in early February 2020, at the price of €72.
Externally:
- It's quite nice, but nothing too special.
- Minimal appearance, simple and plain.
- Very high-quality tempered glass with a good and easy installation mechanism.
- The white color is matte, not glossy, just for your information.
- AIO panel, very high-quality and practical.
- 2 roof covers, one black with cells and one white almost closed with minimal cells.
Internally:
- It has a looooot of space, bigger than common ATX cases.
- It can easily fit any length of GPU and CPU coolers, dual 280mm liquid cooling in the front panel and roof.
- Epic cable management, with dozens of support and direction points and 5 free Velcro straps.
- Very good insulation, with 5 fans and GPU fans RX 5700 XT at 2,000+ rpm full load.
- Very high-quality construction inside.
- Super smart be quiet! "lid" that hides the cables of the front 2 x SSDs.
- Also, a very clever vertical strip to hide the 24-pin power cable of the motherboard.
- The PSU screws onto an adapter and then onto the case for extra ease of installation or removal for cleaning.
- It also has removable filters that can be washed everywhere.
Excellent choice from all perspectives. Plenty of space for satisfactory cable management, excellent airflow (just check the case reviews), high-quality construction, nice touch with the not completely transparent side panel, as well as the be quiet! "lid" that hides the cables for the SSDs placed in the front. Additionally, it provides a second grill for the top if you want better airflow. It's not completely silent, but it really does a great job in this area.
The one observation I have, which in no way diminishes the final impression, is that optimal results in terms of temps/airflow are achieved if you add another fan to the top.
The case was purchased with 3 extra 120mm be quiet fans in a configuration of 3 intake and 2 140mm (rear/top) exhaust. Built with a Ryzen 2600 with PBO enabled, using the stock cooler, I didn't see temperatures above 70°C in Cinebench and stress tests in CPU-Z. Very spacious with excellent cable management. You can also mount a 240mm radiator on top and they provide a magnetic dust filter to replace the plain cover. At this price, if you're not interested in RGB, I believe it's the best option.
