Ideal for silent air-cooled systems
The regular top cover perfectly completes the design of the Pure Base 500. An insulating layer placed underneath ensures quiet operation. It is the perfect choice for air-cooled systems and standard, silent PC configurations. Strong magnets ensure that the top covers fit securely.
Maximum Airflow for Water-Cooled Configurations
For those who want maximum performance, especially with water-cooled systems, the highly air-permeable cover is the right choice. It is made from fabrics with a light mesh, ensuring the highest possible airflow.
Pre-installed fans
Two pre-installed Pure Wings 2 fans with optimized fan blades that ensure perfect airflow and cooling. Despite the compact design, the front and rear fans are both 140 mm, resulting in very quiet operation. Up to three 140 mm fans can also be installed.
Stability & Noise Reduction
The front, side, and top cover are equipped with insulating mats that result in great stability and improved noise damping capabilities. The dust filters on the front and bottom are easily removable for cleaning.
Design with ample space
The Pure Base 500 provides generous dimensions for the installation of high-end graphics cards and large coolers up to 190 mm in height. Fans or radiators up to 360 mm can be easily installed at the front, and the top area also provides space for more fans or a radiator up to 240 mm.

Comfortable and with enough space for the cables, quite quiet but not completely; for airflow, I will return in the summer. As negatives, I would mention the lack of a reset button and a type C input, which it does not have like others in its category. However, in terms of quality, it is complete with a plastic box with zip ties and 2 quiet fans
For its price at 80 euros, it is just right; caution for those who have more than two SSDs or are interested in water cooling, they should not buy it for any reason. It is a quality budget case for a few things because you will squeeze them incredibly, especially with cable management.
No air passes through the front, so all the machines inside raise temperatures resulting in the computer making a lot of noise. Yes, it looks nice and seems to be of good quality, but in summer I always remove the front cover so I don't have to hear the computer groaning from lack of air
I have the 5600G, two Gsκill ripjaws 3200, the arctic 34, the 980 from Samsung, and the Corsair ΤΧ550Μ power supply... in other words, the case is "empty" in terms of airflow.
I also moved the rear fan to the front and replaced it with a 120mm silent wings. With a room temperature of 24 degrees and activities like browsing, music, YouTube, and office work, I have temperatures of 28-31 CPU Core, 31 System, 33 MOS, 36 PCH.
The case is ideal for such QUIET systems in my opinion, but if I wanted a high-performance machine, I would definitely prefer a case with better airflow.
I bought it for 75 euros and in terms of construction, it is worth it and more.
Very good value for money. I will start with the negatives. The negative is probably because although it is not noisy, it is not completely silent. It comes with 2 fans, be quiet pure wings 2 140mm (900rpm) I think. One in the front and one in the back. I put both in the front, and in the back I put a Silent wings 3 120mm 1500rpm. The CPU cooler is the pure rock 2. In absolute silence, with the PC idle, placed on my right side, a very light sound can be heard. I just note it. The cable management is very good, comfortable spaces, the tray for the HDD comes with absorbing pads at the screw points. Many places for SSD, thumb screws for all removable parts, and enough screws for the drives in the accessories. For my simple use, YouTube, some social media, and music, the case provides very good airflow. I would like a mesh in the front, because air only comes from the side grilles, but this is available in the immediate next model, the 500DX. Absolutely satisfied.
The most awesome case I have ever held in my hands. Quality, beautiful, spacious. For the system I have built, it is fantastic. It is worth its money up to the last euro. (AMD 3600, ARCTIC FREEZER 34 DUO, MSI X570 GAMING PLUS, RAM TEAM GROUP ELITE 3200 MHZ, 16GB). The case is incredible. IT IS WORTH GETTING IT.
One of the highest quality constructions I have ever held in my hands, especially in this price category....everything is easy and fast! My next build will definitely have a be quiet case, but I will go for a higher category!
Good evening
The money box is of high quality
be quiet is one of the companies that produce carefully crafted products in all categories
I used the case in a build intended for my parents
Let's start over
Very spacious inside, it comes with 2 good quality fans in the front and back, and on the sides of the case it has sound-absorbing material to block the sound created by the computer's internals and it does it very well
It has 2 top panels, one with sound-absorbing material and one with mesh for better airflow, I have installed the first one for maximum sound isolation
The construction materials are very good and it comes with several accessories
For someone who wants a case that prioritizes making the computer as quiet as possible, here you are
Choose this version and not the one with glass because you will have better isolation if that's what you're looking for
I would use it again in a future build when I have the opportunity
Excellent case! In the new build, I admire the case more than the heart of the system, which is also superb.
The case could be sold at a higher price considering the overall feel and quality it provides.
The only issue I found... the headphone + mic jack on the I/O panel is very tight. (Has anyone else noticed this?)
After 1 month, the headphone broke from repeatedly plugging and unplugging it due to applying pressure to insert it.
I contacted be quiet directly in Germany and their response was immediate. They sent me a new I/O panel the next morning from Germany.
A serious company with serious products!
The case is great. Spacious, with filters, and good cable management. You can choose to hide the SSDs under the motherboard or not, install large cards, liquid cooling, and it is really quiet.
Please note that it does not have a reset button and does not support internal DVD
I won't say much as the description from the scroutz with the photos is very detailed. What I want to emphasize is that I haven't found another box so spacious and ergonomic with such high build quality for this price. It comes with two 140mm fans which are completely silent at the 550-600 RPM that I operate them with the silent mode of the Gigabyte that I have on top. Finally, I want to tell you that the front panel is plastic (you can't easily distinguish it from the photos) and the power switch light is white LED. It is recommended for any use (budget, mid-range, overclocking, water cooling, large volume coolers, etc.) without hesitation. Those of you who have doubts, don't think about it at all.
I have it since yesterday as a replacement for a Coolermaster Silencio 550 (which will become a server since it is very quiet).
For its price, it is very good, spacious, high-quality, with decent cable management.
But you can't really call it silent because the 2 140mm fans run at a constant speed of 1000 RPM with 3-pin connectors, so you don't have speed control. In an office environment, it won't be audible, but for home use, especially at night, it's an issue (and it's also located under my desk in my case).
I will change both fans and update if anything changes.
I use it in my home office where I work several hours at night and I want something quiet.
1. NOISE: Even at night, it is barely audible (you have to concentrate to be able to hear it). This is with the stock cooler of the Ryzen 3 3200G, placed on the floor. Also, the fans that come with the case seem to be of good quality and contribute to keeping the noise levels low.
2. DUST: Here, the case impressed me. There are removable filters everywhere, and an extra filter/screen is provided for the top part ("the lid") to replace the plain metal lid, so you can see the inside of the case.
3. Cable Management: It has slots for 4x 2.5" SSDs in clever positions that help declutter the main interior of the case from cables, as well as slots for 2x 2.5"/3.5" HDDs. It is also wider than usual cases, which makes things easier for cable management and airflow. Overall, if you experiment a bit, the case offers many solutions to keep your cables organized.
Overall, it is a value-for-money choice for those who don't want a plain and minimalistic case to do their work undisturbed by noise.
Very good case for those (like me) who are not looking for flashy disco-ball PC cases. Solid and spacious, makes component installation a breeze. The cable management is quite good. I managed to hide the cables with ease. Anyone complaining about the cable management simply DOES NOT HAVE IT, they should go and knit better.
The build quality is not the best, but for the price, it is always good enough.
The downside is that the case is not completely silent... at least not as much as they present it in videos on YouTube, as in my case, there is a humming sound coming from the CPU fan.
Note: The case is wider than older classic midi cases. Those who have a furniture with a compartment for a PC case should measure it first because it may not fit in terms of width.
Awesome box, very good quality materials, very good memory cards provided with it, spacious, has plenty of dust filters so it's unlikely to get inside, and overall very good value for money, so go ahead and get it without fear.
