I got 4 of them and I have had them for 3 years now. They are very convenient and durable and their lids are made of thick plastic and silicone all around.
P.S. The instructions state that it is not suitable for flame and heating stoves and it is not suitable for making popcorn. I can't understand why someone would get it to make popcorn

Purchased exclusively for microwave use to make popcorn.
Unfortunately, from the first use, the plastic lid warped.
In order for it to stay properly closed in its position when in the microwave, you have to close the red handles that "lock" it onto the glass. However, by doing so, both holes that allow steam to escape are also closed, resulting in the popcorn becoming soggy.
So while the glass can withstand the microwave, the plastic warped from the very first use in it.
