Fluorescent lamps are truly the highlight for indoor lighting, I have 15-year-old fluorescent bulbs where some have burned out but some still work, you install it once and forget about it for at least 15 years, while I had to change the LEDs every 2-3 years because they would overheat and flicker randomly, but I have never seen a fluorescent behave like that. LEDs are really only worth it if they are very expensive!!! It is worth the money, the quality of light is something else, it has a very soft and sweet warm light of 3300 Kelvin, the quality of light has nothing to do with an LED! ''NOTE'' fluorescent lamps require a ballast and starter to operate or with an electronic ballast where a starter is not needed because it essentially works on its own as a ballast and has a built-in starter, and it is much better because the lamp will not flicker at all, it has minimal losses compared to the regular ballast, and the lamp starts immediately or with some electronic ballasts, the lamp will have a slight delay of 2-4 seconds, the simple ballast will turn on with a delay of 2-5 seconds or sometimes even a slightly longer delay, but unfortunately, they are very expensive, costing double to triple the price of a regular ballast
