NAS by Asustor, in Tower form, is mainly intended for home use. NAS hosts hard drives, providing large data storage with security and connects directly to the Router. They create a personal cloud and make the files accessible from any device you own.

Particular emphasis is placed on the backup process, automatically through settings, as well as on entertainment, playing content on devices with access to it.

The model consists of an Intel Celeron J4005 processor with 2GB DDR4 RAM. It includes USB ports for connecting printers, USB Sticks, etc., and HDMI for connecting to a monitor or TV. It also has 2 Ethernet ports, which increase transfer speed or act as a backup.

It does not have built-in hard drives, which means you will need to add your own. It supports up to 2 HDD, SSD drives and RAID 0, 1, JBOD capability.

• RAID 0: Used only for speed purposes. If even 1 disk is damaged, all data is lost.
• RAID 1: Copying one disk to another. If one disk is damaged, the system continues to operate normally, but a new disk is required for copying.
• JBOD: When 2 or more disks are used, the configured space is added. If one disk fails, it is possible to recover the remaining data.
