    Someone here prefers it, but the truth is that even if we didn't have the mat on the radiator, it would still sit there without it. The quality is mediocre, it's not soft, polyester and poor quality synthetic. Inside it has some aluminum which might actually retain heat, but I wouldn't bet on that. The fact that it comes out for washing the mat is convenient, but as others say, it's somewhat stiff and noisy when crumpled. We also got one for the kitten in the lobby. It didn't say no, but it doesn't have another choice since we put it in its little box. In other words, I can't know if cats like it. Anyway, two of them sit on it. That's good.

    Initially, we got 3 for the outdoor cats we take care of. In the winter, it insulates their little houses, in the fall and spring, the open beds (it hasn't gotten wet).
    They all like it VERY much; it is warm and comfortable. For years, they haven't worn out; I shake them well and leave them in the sun for freshening up.

    Now we got another one for the little indoor kitty's basket. She immediately showed interest and liked the material. We'll see if she prefers it for sleeping once it gets cold. I highly recommend it.

    Note: She is already sleeping very comfortably on it and prefers it over all the other surfaces during the night.

    It is not very non-slip on a hard floor, although it has a rudimentary texture underneath.
