    I had to connect both components because my graphics card is quite tall. The screws didn't fit to secure both components together (due to poor craftsmanship), but it was functional and stable. In the end, I didn't use it at all because my case is not wide enough and only accepts the 6-pin power supply for the graphics card on the side. Therefore, this gpu holder doesn't fit on the side. Lastly, it doesn't have analog height micro-adjustment, but rather scales in millimeters.
