  While we had bought two for my first child and they were our favorites, we now got one for our second child to keep the water cooler and it was disappointing. The straw doesn't suck at all. I tried to suck and got tired for just two drops... I cut a little bit of the inside of the straw at the top, but now when it turns upside down it leaks... So the almost 30 euros (with shipping etc.) for this cup didn't make sense. With my first child, we never had a problem; I got her one like this and when it got old, I bought her another one and it still lives today. This one I got for the baby is terrible... I remove one star for the price being very high and another one for the straw not sucking at all, and if you cut it, then it leaks and the baby gets soaked... I'm being lenient because I don't know if I got a defective one. It seems very strange to me that the straw doesn't suck and is intended for babies while I myself had a lot of difficulty

However, this anti-drop barrier it has on the straw prevents the child from drinking water, resulting in them not quenching their thirst, so I give them a bottle of water and they drink and quench their thirst.   We have had it for almost 10 months only for water because the straw is difficult to clean.
  It was convenient for me because the child could easily open it without needing to hold the straw.
  The little one bit and cut the straw and there is no replacement.
  I chose stainless steel instead of plastic because it is better in terms of quality and would last.. BUT there are no replacements.

  The cup is very good in many aspects as it has been mentioned and it really is one of the best we have had so far (this was missing, it used to cost 20€). We should have had it for 6-7 months already. Everything was fine until the child just had a little strength and bites/cuts the straw and you can't find replacements. So here you throw away the whole sippy cup... Yesterday I would have given it 5 stars, today after a bite, we're down to 1.

  Positive: It doesn't leak and maintains temperature.
  Negative: It doesn't clean the straw easily, I haven't found a replacement straw as the baby has bitten/cut it (correct me if there is), and most importantly, in our case, it doesn't suck easily, which makes it difficult for the child to easily drink their water.
