Very powerful and clear sound! Clean bass, emphasizes the mid and high frequencies more, download the app and play with custom equalizer settings, it's worth it
2 devices paired, Lenovo laptop and PocoX5, you listen to music and when someone calls, it switches to the call sound, the previous setup was 2 Xiaomi 16w paired and it plays much clearer, much louder, and they hear better. As for the bass, it is more than enough for normal conditions, I had read the reviews and thought it would be completely dead, but it's not that bad. Money well spent
I paid 100€ to have it in my hands for a year after!
Thank goodness for the store where I bought it, which gave me the option to upgrade to the Soundcore Boom 2 80W for an additional 50€.
Guys, before making any purchase, always look for potential problems that your purchase might hide.
If I had checked the forums and read that one day its Bluetooth would stop working and never turn back on, I obviously wouldn't have bought it!
Fortunately, my defective Anker revealed its defect within its warranty! Otherwise, I would have sent it to Anker itself to take a rope and hang it around their neck! <3
5 stars and few are, I had the excellent flip essential 1 (stereo) with which I was very satisfied with its balanced sound, but I wanted something relatively small a little more powerful but equally high-quality, I am a fan of jbl though, in my opinion and I imagine for commercial reasons decided to make all its small speakers monophonic. Sneaky logic if you want to hear properly get 2!!! I will not analyze the sound of the motion+ they have written everything, a couple of negative things only, the on-off button is not in a good place and I would like the buttons on top to be more embossed for us 50-year-olds who cannot see up close, also it fills with fingerprints. JBL Anker put glasses on you I hope you do not make the Boombox 4 monophonic because companies like Anker, Tribit, tronsmart have dangerously approached you in large speakers, surpassed you in small ones, the motion+ is a little gem! This is what happens when you put both feet in one shoe.
I have it for 3-4 years and the battery is still the same, very durable and the sound remains good, the only negative is its weight but it has endured so much that I consider it fully worth its money!!
The speaker is excellent.
Initially, it is Stereo unlike almost all others up to €150. I have tried the JBL charge 5 40 Watts, the JBL flip 6 30 watts, the LG xboom xg7 40 Watts. All of them are mono. Meaning they have one speaker for bass and one for high frequencies.
The soundcore has 2 speakers, 2 tweeters, and a passive radiator for bass. That's 5 speakers compared to the 2 that all the above have. It is 30 watts.
With factory settings, it plays very flat with little bass and emphasizes the mid and high frequencies more. With the bass up button, it gives clear and nice bass, but not as good as the JBL speakers. However, it plays cleaner than the JBL and louder than the flip 6, which has the same watts.
Now, if you use the soundcore app and adjust the EQ, and use the EQ of Alan Ross, which is shown in the photo I uploaded, then the speaker transforms. It plays with more bass than the JBL flip 6, easily competing with the 40-watt speakers I mentioned earlier. That is, the JBL charge and the LG xboom xg7. It also has almost half the price of the 40-watt speakers.
It weighs 1100 grams and has a sturdy construction. This shows that its drivers are of high quality!
I recommend it. Also, within the app, there is a feature where you can create your own white noises! You can combine various sounds like rivers, rain, water, fire, and dozens of others to create any white noise you want!
It is also waterproof with an IPX7 rating.
That means it can be submerged in half a meter of water for a few minutes. And even if it falls into a bucket of water, it won't be damaged!
Due to the fact that I got it for 80, I have no complaint but with all the reviews and videos that say it's incredible, I might have expected something more. Quality-price ratio 10/10. Build quality 10/10. Connectivity 10/10. Sound quality with eq and with the front speaker I would give it an 8/10, generally 8.5/10! The sound is not tiring but probably because it is waterproof, it doesn't sound completely clear in the mid and high frequencies, while it does a good job with the passive radiator in the low frequencies and has relatively punchy bass. It can play quite loud but it has quite a bit of distortion as soon as you exceed a certain low volume in my opinion. In summary, I would say it's enjoyable at low volume at home with all the advantages of portability and connectivity for outside the house! But considering its cost, it deserves 5 stars
Excellent implementation, build quality, I also have a JBL Charge 3 and I can compare it. Sound-wise, as a whole, it plays with more intensity, emphasizing the mid and high frequencies more. The bass doesn't lack punch, it's just that the JBL has more volume in the low frequencies but lacks in the mid-range. It's a matter of personal preference for each person what they like in sound. Overall, the sound is crystal clear without distortion even at high volumes. The app provides many options for sound customization, which is very positive. It's worth the money it costs.
Today's purchase, the sound is very good with more bass than needed in some songs, the soundcore app is definitely necessary. I am completely satisfied with this purchase, it is a fantastic speaker with very good sound for my taste, although it requires some searching from the app to find approximately how you want the sound. Maybe you can save more options for each genre you listen to, I will look into it. What I haven't figured out is how to charge it, if I use the charger for my phone I'm afraid I might burn it, it's 120
Although I have had it for a short time and I am not the most knowledgeable about sound, this speaker was exactly what I wanted. Its sound is excellent (I adjusted the settings a bit to achieve my desired result), clear, and super crisp at low volumes. It is a bit heavy, but it doesn't bother me at all since I feel like I am holding a sturdy construction, and it is also very aesthetically pleasing, which was also important to me. It easily connects to many devices that I have tried (mobile phone, laptop, television) and has a very good range, which I tested in a two-story house in different areas.
Very good speaker. I bought it mainly for use on the beach with friends, but ended up using it at home as well. For a portable speaker, it has very good low, mid, and high frequencies. Don't expect it to be as good as a regular home or car audio system. However, it does its job very well. It is water-resistant, so if it accidentally gets wet or exposed to the saltiness of the beach, it should be fine. I wouldn't recommend submerging it though, despite what it claims. The only downside, which you already know when you buy it, is that it doesn't have amazing 360 sound and the quality is slightly diminished if you are behind it. It sounds great from the sides and front though.
P.S. If you want even better sound quality, download the app and play around with custom equalizer settings. I remember searching on YouTube and finding a good one that had settings similar to those shown in the photo.
Perhaps one of the best portable speakers (Bluetooth) on the market! I won't go into further detail as most people have already said it all (build quality, sound quality, value for money, etc.). Personally, I mainly use it connected to the TV for movies and it works flawlessly without any sound delay, and of course, the quality is great. I consider myself lucky as I bought it with a coupon from Soundcore itself for 78 euros! I would deduct one star because my speaker refuses to update its software through the app or computer, but the company refunded me 10% and considering its proper functioning, I didn't mind.
Update: The company accepted the return of the speaker at their own expense and replaced it with a new one, which updated the software directly! The company is reliable, as is their support! I highly recommend it without a second thought!
Excellent speaker, very good transparency, it is stereo, you need to download the Soundcore app to customize the equalization, extremely satisfied with the purchase.
It had fantastic sound and bass for its price, especially in Classical music it reaches the high notes much better compared to JBL. Also, with the use of the Soundcore app, the bass soars in techno music. The sound above 50% - 60% is more than enough. I think it's the best choice for its price!
I won't say much... the speaker exceeded my expectations!!!
Downloading the Soundcore app is a must... I immediately updated it (photo)
I also customized my sound and attached the EQ I made... (photo)...
The EQs that various people (including Alan Ross) have suggested enhance the midrange and scratch the highs... I set it up in comparison to the professional speakers I have to be as close as possible to them...
Powerful clear sound, with a stereo image that is rare for speakers of this type...
Put on Pink Floyd's Money and you'll hear it immediately :-)...
CONCLUSION: At this price (100 euros) it's a one-way street... don't even think about it!!!
I hope I can help someone... Cheers!!!
I will not pretend that I have knowledge of sound recording and check boxes to make this evaluation. Based solely on my experience with similar devices, however, I will say that the sound is extremely satisfying in terms of quality, depth, bass, and volume. It is slightly heavy, not the type of speaker you would have with you on a walk, but I had read this in advance in the specifications and it doesn't bother me. I consider it an excellent purchase.
It is a very good speaker.
In comparison to all categories of JBL speakers, it is far better even than the Xtreme 3.
The sound intensity depends on what you ask from a speaker.
I wanted a speaker for the space I would be in, not necessarily for partying, but to enjoy super high-quality and balanced sound. I will buy another one to have an even more high-quality and stereo sound.
With a total of 220 euros for both, you have incredible performance.
I bought it so that I can listen to my music anywhere in the house, no matter where I am. I didn't buy it for wild parties. After all, I live in an apartment building. But for gatherings at home and for listening to playlists from Spotify, it's amazing.
I bought it for 89 euros including shipping. It is simple, beautiful, and fits even in a banana bag. As soon as I put the first piece, I was a little disappointed with the volume. After I adjusted the settings of my friend Alan, I was amazed. I couldn't believe that such a small speaker could produce such loud volume. Minus one star for the almost non-existent bass that simply accompanies the piece.
The speaker is very good for its size.
It has proper acoustics and at high volume, the Equalizer it has through the application is enough to adjust some imperfections in the mid-range frequencies at higher volumes.
The bass is very good!
For its price, it is much better than other higher-priced ones.
Well done to Anker
First day with the speaker, so I will come back for clarifications. As a first impression, nice sound, although I think it would be useful to have an EQ app to adjust it to your preferences, personally I found it a bit flat. It is surprisingly powerful for its size, however, I should note that above 80% volume, the bass weakens compared to the other frequencies (although I consider it unlikely to need volume above 70% indoors, as it is quite loud).
In general, I think it's worth its money (I bought it for 110 euros), it might be slightly heavier than others in the same price range but it has good sound.
I have a pair and I am amazed. I had many speakers and usually jpl and sony xb 43. Well, these ones are superior. Get them without fear. If you can, get a pair and you will remember me.
