For its price, it is excellent (5 devices - 15 €), but it has a relatively "weird" menu that confuses you more and makes it difficult to find some functions you are looking for. In other similar software from other companies (bitdefender, kaspersky), they have much easier menus.
Positive: reliable and cheap
Negative: the VPN does not work in Greece. The 'forced' option of Israel, Italy, Ireland, etc. creates various problems (which are overcome with repeated, tedious manipulations.
Why, Mr. Norton, if you want to sell in Greece, don't you configure it correctly?
15/4/2022: I changed my rating from 3 to 1 star due to great disappointment. In the end, the cheap meat is eaten by the dogs!
It's a big hassle to find a contact phone number for support. I believe they intentionally make it difficult to find so that you don't 'bother' them... But guess what, you can't find any information about VPN settings for Greece anywhere in the Q&A (which they constantly refer you to). The default/automatic setting shows that you are geographically located in Israel, Italy, Ireland, and other countries, resulting in being flooded with irrelevant ads and spam. Also, many websites do not even open, such as Skroutz for example. You have to disable the VPN to access them, which makes you wonder a) am I really 'protected' or completely 'exposed', b) since it doesn't work, why did I pay for it, and c) why does Norton sell it advertising it as perfect?
Do I sound disappointed and angry to you? You guessed right, and I'm trying to protect others as I have been informed/protected many times by the reviews of others.
20/04/2022: I finally managed, after a long wait because "all our representatives are busy," to speak with a very polite Russian (who spoke Greek well but asked me to continue in English because it would be easier). She confirmed to me that I indeed cannot access all the websites that require Greek location (such as Skroutz, banks, and many others) if I have the VPN enabled, and for this reason, I should not use it. So, Caveat Emptor...
While I am an experienced Windows user and generally good with computers, for the past hour I have been trying to activate the product key and all I manage to do is get redirected to a page to purchase a new key from them!
A very good and reliable solution at a reasonable price that with a little research will help the average user. It is definitely good to keep in mind that nothing replaces our attention while surfing and it is good to avoid dangerous websites.
