The Bosch vent hood is built-in. It is installed in cabinets in such a way that only its bottom surface is visible. It is considered quiet, as at maximum operation it does not exceed 60 decibels (conversation between 2 people in a normal tone).
The maximum suction power is 362 m³/h, which can adequately cover spaces up to 12 square meters (with a height of 2.85 meters). Additionally, it has an increased intensity function at 618 m³/h for a short period, particularly useful for dealing with odors during frying and grilling.
The air drawn by the vent hood is either expelled through a duct or recirculated in the vent hood. For operation with air extraction, a duct needs to be installed to expel the air outside the kitchen.
Accepts metal filters, which can be removed and washed in the dishwasher or by hand, and do not require frequent replacement.
Additionally, it also accepts carbon filters, which are necessary for operation with air recirculation. Carbon filters are not washable and it is recommended to replace them every 4-6 months.

I rated the extractor hood three stars because: I can't know whether the internal construction is a blend of steel and aluminum or if it is stainless steel as they say. The finish is relatively good, and one should be careful during installation to wear gloves to avoid cuts. It has not yet been tested under heavy cooking conditions; we will see later how effective it will be. What upset me quite a bit, and for this reason the three stars, is that the covers - filters underneath that are visible and cover the extractor hood and include the aluminum filters, are made of plastic that seems very fragile, and I believe that over time it will degrade and fade. Also, the speed and turbo selection switch is quite vague; it does not lock into any setting. It gives the feeling of a potentiometer. And it says Bosch made in Germany.

After three months of operation, everything is smooth except for the suction power... ineffective in tough situations!!!
The button of the extractor fan is very fake and does not lock between the 3 levels + the turbo it has, resulting in having to bend down to see what number you have set it to, as levels 2-3 do not have much difference between them
