Reviews
I had purchased 2 pieces for installation on inverter air conditioners to monitor consumption, but after 3 months of daily 5-hour use, the digital display stopped working; it couldn't show what it was writing, meaning it couldn't distinguish, for example, the 3 from the 5, the 6 from the 8, or the 9; it cut off the numbers. A major negative is the lack of lighting and the very small digits... Hama is considered a fairly large serious company, supposedly German... once...
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful? To me, the wattage indicator doesn't work, meaning the most important one. Whatever I put on it, it shows 19-60 watts.
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?Very good, easy to use, it is a bit difficult to read due to its size and brightness, but it does its job well and reliably
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?I confirm the comments that mention the difficulty of reading the screen. However, it is not only the fact that it is not illuminated, but it also has a very poor UI design. I had to use a magnifying glass to be able to read the settings, and even then it was very difficult.
Another major drawback is that in order to reset the measurements, i.e. if you want to measure another device, you have to reset the meter. Which means that you also reset all the settings that you have managed to make with great effort.
However, if all you want is to get an indication of the consumption of a device (without calculating costs, night rates, etc.), then this particular product can be useful.
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?Overall, it does the job it is supposed to do. It measures instantaneous consumption in Volts, Watts, I think, and Amps. It also keeps track of total consumption until you set it up. Of course, since the screen is not illuminated, it is not easy to read the indicators.
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?Flawless in measurements, very good construction. It also has an internal battery that keeps the measurements. So you can easily remove it from the socket and read the indications. With the press of a button, you can zero whichever indication you want. It may not have a backlit dial and large indications, but with a little light at an angle, everything is readable. For 9€, it is more than value for money. It truly deserves it.
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?I have it for about a year. It works very well. The only negative is that it doesn't have a backlit screen like other meters. And its plastics seem to be quite good. For the 10 euros I bought it, it is excellent value for money. It has extremely small deviations from what I saw with various LED lamps that I tested.
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?Update: After 8 years, the meter seems to be heading towards recycling. The display of the readings does not easily show the numbers, while sometimes it indicates zero voltage or the voltage it shows is 265V when the normal is 230V, as measured by another instrument. It can be corrected with a reset, but the problem reoccurs. The meter has obviously made its money after all these years with this cost.
We have had the energy meter for 5 years. For amateur use, it does the job. The negatives are the low alternation of numerical values when the sizes change, current, voltage, power, etc., as well as some possible deviations that occur.

Very good. It's worth its money.
