Made from durable plastic and aluminum. Secures the smartphone with an intelligent holding mechanism, which operates with the weight of the device itself. Its movable wings are made of aluminum and are lined with non-slip, soft material to improve the level of grip, preventing scratches from use. It is ideal for use on vertical or horizontal air vents.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
It is a base that does what it was made for. Be careful, it is only for certain cars, because if the CD input is close to the gear lever, unfortunately it does not work.
I bought it based on the good reviews I read. It easily falls on roads with many potholes, and not only does the phone fall, but it also gets damaged along with the base. Luckily, I have a protective glass on my phone because my screen would have been shattered. I will be looking for a more sturdy base.
If hypothetically I want to use the CD, I will have to remove it; otherwise, however, it is the most high-quality one of its kind that I have tried without worrying about it coming off or falling with the first jolt. Much more stable than those that hook onto the ventilation slats of the A/C
Its only drawback is that it creaks when there is no phone placed in it. Otherwise, very good.
Having tried bases that attach to the air vents and not considering those that clip over the dashboard reliable, I decided to get this one for my father, who drives a 2002 Toyota Corolla sedan. Well, it fit perfectly in the CD device and doesn't budge at all! Sturdy, beautiful, with freedom of movement and ultimately reliable!!!
Very good solution for support in the air duct.
Care is needed for the available space to accommodate the back side which is wide.
I have had it for 2 years. With daily use and heavy phones, I can say that it still holds up. Excellent purchase.
For the money I spent, it is a very good product. For those cars that do not have grilles on the air vents, this way of attachment is the only solution.
The installation system is unique, probably based on wedging. I appreciate that the fixed air grilles, rather than the movable ones, are good for this particular product.
In general, it does its job, however, several times it comes off its position on turns or in puddles and falls down, as it is not as stable as where it attaches to the CD, but the phone remains stable on the base. Plastic construction with metal points, not so bad but definitely Chinese. I recommend it only if the car does not have another point for a base like mine, where the windshield is deep and the air vents are thickened.
When placing the phone in landscape mode, there is a problem as it is impossible. Other than that, it is a very decent proposition at this price.
Unfortunately, it does not support well in the cd slot, it shakes and the entire support along with the phone falls off, it collapses is the right word. On the contrary, this specific brand produces very good supports with magnetic ventilation.
Noisy construction and not at all compact. It does the job but there are more quality constructions available.
It is easily placed in the CD slot but the support does not inspire safety and trust.
The phone is held in place due to gravity, but it does not give you a great sense of security
The mobile phone, once placed on the base, does not sit properly. The reason? It is held inside the hooks with the weight of the device, so a "light" mobile phone becomes a "boat on the shore". And if that was the only problem? The base is fastened with a clip and not with a screw on the CD, so if you try to move the mobile phone a little to the right or a little to the left.... the whole base comes off! And the best part is.....when there is no mobile phone on the base, it is not securely "tied" resulting in hearing "music" because the hooks creak. In my opinion, there are much better bases than this one.....
I had it in a 2011 Ford Fiesta car and it didn't fit easily into the air vents. Every time I get in the car, I have to take it out again because it slowly falls off. On a road with potholes, it barely held on with the Samsung s8, but now with the iPhone 13, which must be heavier, the base falls on me at the first pothole. If it didn't have the durability issue, it would be very good as the phone fits very well with a case.
I have been using the stand for almost 2 months now on a daily basis. The stand has exceeded my expectations. However, I must say that I have a relatively lightweight and small mobile phone (iPhone 6s). With heavier phones that I had tried it on, it seemed to struggle more, but the truth is that it never actually moved from its position. If the road has potholes, you will hear a slight shaking from the stand, but that's about it.
Very smart and economical case. It doesn't stick to suction cups, it doesn't damage blinds on air vents, it simply eliminates an outdated source. Not suitable for a dashboard with a multifunctional screen that has a CD slot on top.
In the i10 I didn't have any other options since the vents are small, I don't think it would withstand anything easily on the dashboard or the windshield... so I found this one! It fits perfectly in the cd player slot, it just "hides" the screen underneath. That's why I don't have it permanently there, only when I use GPS for example. Because it relies on the weight of the phone, if you balance it correctly when you put it in, it doesn't move afterwards. I haven't tried putting it horizontally, but I don't think it would sit properly like that. If it was a little cheaper, even better.
Since it does not fit tightly in the CD slot, it is completely useless. It easily comes out of its position with the slightest movement.
In Corolla e12 it did not fit well in the cd, it seems ready to leave but remains stable. The biggest downside is that when you don't have a mobile phone on the base, it creaks so much like a baby rattle. Better with a suction cup on the window
I bought this particular phone holder with the intention of it being stable during driving, as other ones that rely on air vents or the dashboard tend to fall off at the first pothole you encounter. It is quite stable and convenient. The only negative thing I can say is that because it secures using the weight of the phone, it is not meant for the device to be placed horizontally, only vertically.
Perfect, very good, convenient

Good quality, beautiful, but does not support well and dances.

It is difficult for such a base (air vent) to stay stable. Good overall, though, an okay choice

So far satisfied, given the price of the product.

After years, the CD slot found usefulness, congratulations to whoever thought of it!
I have had the CD base for my Opel Corsa D for 3 months now and I can say that it is very stable.

It creaks quite a bit while driving, especially over potholes.
