The Phono Box S2 Ultra is unique in its category. The incredible success of the Phono Box Ultra 500 led us to present this seemingly exceptional phono preamplifier in the S2 series. The sturdy metal casing protects against interference, and the internal design remains spectacular as before.

A fully discrete, OpAmp-free design is offered that allows for an incredibly harmonious sound. Additionally, we decided to use polystyrene capacitors, which significantly enhance the high-fidelity sound of the Phono Box S2 Ultra. These capacitors are widely recognized in the audiophile community as the holy grail for phono preamplifiers. The utilized split RIAA equalization allows for accurate implementation of the RIAA equalization curve, a luxury feature that many other phono preamplifiers lack.
