The Moccamaster KBG Select filter coffee machine can produce 6 or 10 cups of coffee, thanks to the extra switch, which allows you to choose between a full carafe of fresh filter coffee or half.
Thanks to the ideal temperature between 92°-96° C, the coffee becomes less acidic or bitter in taste, because at this temperature the water manages to dissolve its aromatic oils, resulting in the ideal balance between sweet and bitter.
It features a stainless steel arm with 9 holes for effective wetting of the coffee beans and a carafe lid with a mixing tube for a homogenized result. The coffee wetting basket has an automatic extraction stop mechanism.
The machine's heating element shuts off automatically upon completion of extraction to prevent damage and accidents.

Definitely a beautiful coffee maker and the green color is amazing. It doesn't take up much space, it looked bigger in the photos. It makes great coffee and is quick.
I don't know if it makes coffee that much better than other coffee makers as advertised because I'm not much of a coffee connoisseur (I still drink instant frappé). Therefore, I can't say if it's worth the extra money. However, I can say that it is extremely user-friendly, fast, and stylish. The only downside is that it doesn't have any kind of scheduling feature.
I bought it in 2013. It works perfectly. Every 2 months I clean it with white vinegar and water 50/50. I don't know if there is service here in Greece. Very satisfied
The coffee is indeed different in taste and aroma, to the point where my wife thought she was drinking a different variety/brand of coffee. In terms of speed, the five cups (the maximum amount of water it can hold) are made in five minutes. The plastic is BPA free, but the price is definitely high.
