Special purpose food because Rico had high creatinine levels. Although our vet told us that he probably wouldn't eat it because it has low meat content, our dog eats it without leaving any for tomorrow, with even more appetite than his regular food!!! Overall, it has been good for him... he had been lethargic for 2-3 months and now he has returned to puppy levels (he is 8.5 years old). We also did repeat blood tests after 90 days and his levels are now within the higher range of normal
I am 12 years old and I have a Golden Retriever who was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure. After the treatment with this specific food, I maintain low levels of urea and creatinine in combination with pronefra. The dog did not eat the other brands (such as hills kd, etc.) because the foods are tasteless for this particular case. I consider it the best food for kidney failure in all aspects
Great improvement in urea and creatinine levels. In one month. However, very inconvenient packaging. It would be good if it closed, so it stays fresh and crispy
