First of all, it's not a Camry. It's a Chinese one WITHOUT A BRAND.
Secondly, from the third day of sharpening kitchen and service knives, it presents problems. Thirdly, it overheats very quickly. I am quite dissatisfied and do not recommend it. WARNING!!!! NOT THE BRAND, BUT THE CHINESE ONE THAT WAS SENT TO ME.
Purchased on 22/1/24
I wanted it to sharpen my knives at work (as a chef). The knives are not 100 euros or even 5, they range from 10 to 30 euros, so I didn't want a particularly fancy sharpener. Compared to a manual one I had from Ikea, it does a much better and faster job. It sharpens the knives very well and as for the grinding, I haven't noticed it removing metal with 1-2 passes for now.
Finally, the sharpening lasts and I don't need to sharpen them every day, which was the main purpose I wanted it for. In 5 minutes, I have sharpened all the knives and from what I have observed, the sharpening lasts about 5-7 days depending on the workload on each knife. It requires gentle handling and not pressing the knives against the stones.
That's it, in a few words, for the money, I consider it ideal and I recommend it without reservation.
