The assembly is not difficult at all, the instructions are very clear, it's just that the castle is very big and there are too many steps to complete it. Very good quality, all the plastic parts are sturdy. For the 140 euros I paid, the 4 included warriors are few for such a big castle. Of course, my son didn't even notice because he already has 50 others, so the game is endless. For someone who decides to spend such an amount, they will be rewarded by their child's enthusiasm.

It is definitely worth it if 1) you have other figures beforehand to add to the huge castle 2) if you get it for around 120 and not 170. It is not easily portable, it is meant to be set up and stay.

As for the construction quality, it is quite good and durable. The exception is the outer gate, which loosens over time and does not close completely (there was a gap from the beginning, which has become bigger over time).
It is quite bulky and, apart from the space it occupies, there should be free space around it so that children can fully enjoy it. Alternatively, they can rotate it.

Did you find this review helpful?Christmas gift, eagerly awaited. He hasn't stopped playing with it. Impressive, large with a dungeon, catapults, drawbridges, awesome! But as previous reviewers mentioned, it should have come with more knights and at least one additional horse (it comes with figures and a horse as many as the cheaper and smaller fortress). As for the negatives, I would also like to mention that the crossbow broke before the game even closed a month. And it definitely wasn't the child's fault, because the teeth that hold the arrows loosened (After contacting Playmobil, they sent me a new crossbow without any financial burden, I hope the second one doesn't break either!). I would also like to say that it was purchased with a fairly good discount, if I had bought it at the original price of 180, the aforementioned issues would have bothered me quite a bit. However, the important thing is that my son loved it very, very much, hence the 5 stars, I would personally give it 4 stars.
