Misty knife sharpener, suitable for stainless steel, but also for non-stick utensils as it does not scratch or damage the non-stick coating. It is suitable for both home and professional use. Dishwasher safe.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Very good for the price, my knives that barely cut an onion with 15 strokes on each level became quite sharper, I recommend it
It is very good for its price, it just doesn't have much durability over time! The knives sharpen very well!
I don't know what others write and why they write it, obviously they have never used sharpeners before...
It does its job just fine if:
a. you do it RIGHT (one stroke at a time and not more than 2-3 on each blade-sharpener)
b. you follow the correct sharpening order (starting from 1-2-3, indicated on the side)
c. you CLEAN both the knife and the sharpener after each use
The construction quality is not good, the plastic is of low quality. However, it does its job well, so it is worth its money for household use.
Quite good and user-friendly. Its handle is stable and you can handle it with ease.
Overall, it is value for money.
I had bought it for 12 euros about a year ago. For 3-4 euros that it costs now, I don't even discuss it, it's very good. Obviously, don't try to sharpen a 200 euro knife with this tool (although anyone who has a professional knife wouldn't even consider doing such a thing).
The watermelon is rubbish. It sharpens moderately, not well. I had a Tupperware sharpener for 8 years, it made the knives razor sharp and the sharpening lasted for a month and more. This one sharpens the knives moderately and they need sharpening every 2 days. Because it sharpens moderately, when I cut salad (e.g. lettuce or fresh onions), I have to hold it tightly and close to the knife in order to cut, resulting in cutting myself many times.
After 6 months of use, it broke. The two blades inside it got worn out from use. Bad product even for its price
With the first use, the first sharpener came off its place, cheap construction, but it gets the job done. It's better to go for something more expensive.
It broke down from the first use. The sharpener easily detaches from the handle, which is bad and dangerous.
Good price for its job,
3 stages
1st sharpening (knives/scissors),
2nd honing
2nd polishing
It requires 3 to 6 passes, not excessive force but hold steadily and carefully.
I recommend choosing a direction (from base to tip or vice versa) but always follow this direction when sharpening. Don't go back and forth. Rinse with water.
Try it with an A4 paper before and after to see if it cuts vertically.
I'm not sure if I would put it in the dishwasher to be honest, and for household knives (IKEA, etc.) it's fine, but for professional knives (that don't touch metal with metal, etc.) I would get a sharpening stone.
It does the knives very well, quite sharp. For its price, it's great, sharpens very quickly. It has 3 levels. The first one is to remove the metal from the knife (only do it if the knife doesn't cut at all and don't do it often because as it removes the metal, the knife gets smaller, so do it very rarely). The second one is for the edge of the blade. The third one makes it sharper. If your knife is bad, useless, it won't make a big difference, but if it's decent, it will do just fine. Don't apply force on the second and third level (only use moderate force on the first level). If you want it even sharper, get sharpening stones
For its price, it is very good. It sharpens knives easily and mainly quickly.
The only downside is that it leaves small dents on the knives. So if you want it for regular kitchen knives, go ahead and get it without fear.
If you have expensive knives, look for something more high-quality.
For the money, it is the best. However, I do not recommend it for expensive knives. In that case, it is better to look for sharpening stones.
The best thing you can buy for your knives. We have ordered it for 5-6 houses so far
It made the knives like razor blades, an awesome tool for every household, cheap. I won't change the knives for a long time. Buy it! You definitely won't regret it
