The textbook is primarily aimed at instructors and students of electrical engineering departments and related specialties, as well as mechanical engineers. At the same time, it serves as a useful tool for any professional working in industrial facilities and areas of electric vehicle production. It is the result of the author's many years of teaching in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Patras. It is organized into two parts, which describe the general concepts and basic elements of electromagnetism, as well as the construction elements of transformers, direct current machines, synchronous and asynchronous machines, with the aim of understanding their structure.
