I have it for 2 years and it has paid off 10 times! You get a good coffee and once you learn the dosage, everything is perfect!!! It is a very good machine for the 50 euros it costs! (I close 3.5 years and it still works like clockwork with full daily use)
It is the second machine I bought, the first one is 7 years old and still works without any problems. It makes a good cup of coffee, not with frothy milk. It has minimal noise and a good aroma
I bought it in 2013 on sale for 35 euros!! It's almost 2022 and every day it makes two delicious coffees with frothy cream. It takes 20 seconds to fill the coffee almost to the top, and we press it down with the tamper. Every month we descale it with vinegar and it becomes like new again!!
I broke 2 machines trying to unscrew the screw from the metal plate that holds the filter. Ridiculous! But then again, what did I expect from what I bought...
I bought it for €36 and it worked for a few months - 1 year, I don't remember exactly, then it died.
It makes a decent coffee, with its foam. You won't have any luck with frothed milk, it works a little at the beginning and then stops. The result is coffee with milk, tasty but not cappuccino.
If you want cappuccino as well, you will need a device that makes frothed milk...
After two years, unfortunately, the boiler's resistance burned out and cannot be replaced because the warranty just expired and there are no spare parts... such a shame... a good machine but only for as long as the warranty lasts, after that you throw it away...
I have no point of comparison with other home appliances, but compared to buying coffee from outside, it is a very good choice and worth its money. I have had it for 10 months, but it has a significant flaw. During operation, it leaks water from underneath the countertop. When I first got it, I allowed the seller's service to inspect it after a while. They called me and said they didn't see anything wrong, it was functioning fine, etc. Indeed, when they took it back for a while, it didn't happen!!! But then it started again, and lately, it seems to be leaking even more. This is a serious issue, and the only reason I am giving it fewer stars.
It makes a little noise, but okay, they all do. It takes a little time to warm up. It cleans quite easily, like all machines. I haven't made frothy milk.
For 35 euros that I bought it, it was a very good purchase. I have had it for 5 years and it works perfectly fine.
Since I researched the topic a lot before buying a coffee machine and mainly read the reviews, I also decided to write my own to help some people make a decision. (Because I am a coffee lover) I make 4-5 coffees a day with this specific machine and I can say that it is worth its money and more... IT IS AMAZING, GUYS! Of course, you have to choose the coffee that you will use to make it taste right and delicious... (I use freshly ground, aromatic, not bitter) As for the milk frother, I am one of the lucky ones who have a milk frother because its nozzle has no power at all. It will froth the milk, but not well... it settles immediately and it's like drinking milk.
After 1 month of daily use, I can say that I am satisfied...actually, I had reservations about whether it would make good coffee if it would be noisy, if it would work properly overall...for its price, it is very good...of course, the type of coffee you use also matters...for example, it makes a very good cappuccino with Douwe coffee...with Lavazza, almost none at all...the only downside is the frothed milk...I tried many different types of milk and still couldn't make proper frothed milk.
19-10-2023...after 6 years and countless coffees, today the machine gave up...it can't press the water to come out of the nozzle and make the coffee...it didn't justify its price.
After many coffees, I can say that it's worth its money and a piece of advice for friends is to not constantly clean the machine, but to put the paper filter that we use in the French press (after cutting it into 4 pieces) on top of the cup where we place the coffee. This way, the machine will hardly need any cleaning. After 1 year of regular use, it lost pressure and stopped making coffee.
