P.S.: Generally 4.5/5 for quality-price ratio, very good.
Positives
- Big EXTRA has its own anatomical insole of quite good quality
- I come home and my feet don't hurt and I generally have to stand for long periods
- The feeling in the foot is really like wearing a more athletic shoe
- Above the toes it is indeed hard and provides the necessary protection
Negatives
- While I wear size 41-42, ideally I would have chosen this one if there was a size 40.5, so it has a relatively wide fit which is not bad.
So what happened was that my foot slightly slipped out the back. I solved it by adding another insole under the existing one and another one folded in half in front of the toes.
Now the foot "fits" snugly, to put it simply, and it's like a glove without any discomfort.
- Basic but silly, you immediately take out the laces because they are like spaghetti No.10 and put in laces that are 1 to 2 sizes wider and it's perfect.
Very good boot! You get something more than the very cheap ones and you have something of quality. It doesn't slip, it doesn't seem to have any imperfections, and the feet breathe well. The laces are like spaghetti No. 10 (very thin) which makes them a bit uncomfortable, but the good thing is that if they get wet, they don't hold water. If someone doesn't like them, they can always get an extra pair of laces
I bought it for work, which involves working with marbles. The main issue is water, I will see how waterproof they are and write later. Waterproof doesn't mean just a drop of water, but no matter how much water falls, they seem to be waterproof. The size is normal for me and they look like very good shoes.
Update after a few days, the shoes are indeed comfortable (as much as such a shoe can be). As for waterproofing, they are not. They are fine for rain, but not for the use I wear them for, like when I am near a machine that works with water and water falls (enough to wet a shoe). After 3-4 times, my feet will get wet inside. However, I know it's difficult to find shoes that don't let water in, even rubber boots let water in with such a daily amount. So, it's not something unexpected for me, hence this rating.
I still have them after 3+ years, my feet don't hurt after many hours of standing, although in the second year I changed the soles because it is normal for them to wear out with so much movement. I will buy them again
