You push it to the angle you want, but as soon as you let go, it returns to the previous position and there's no way to secure it in the spot you want.     Just opened it. Bulb definitely E27, as stated in the description. Sturdy, heavy base so it can move without falling. Switch on the cord a little behind the light. It is small for a child's room. Not like the big "professional ones. The connections are black, not red as shown in some pictures. The bulb does not come out of the cap. I am satisfied with everything about the product. If the price-quality ratio (16.30€) is the best, I can't know. If something comes up, I will come back...
