The review pertains to this specific use. They were purchased as headphones for a language laboratory at a foreign language center. Mediocre acoustic experience - expected for the cost. But the ear pads came off on the first day. They cannot be easily reattached, so they essentially cannot be used further.

For their price, they are excellent. Good sound with bass and they seem durable. I got 8 sets for a school that goes through many hands.

These specific headphones did not satisfy me enough, their cable broke both times I purchased the product, and whenever the cable touched something, you would hear a huge thump.
