  I bought it for the PUBG FPS game, and personally, I was not satisfied at all for the reasons that it has such a loud sound that you have to lower the volume, which again makes you lose the low sounds, and it also distorted the sound for me.

My 2.1 system is desktop speakers and a sub connected to a hi-end level amplifier, BUT purchased at an incredible second-hand price! 3. The card was connected via the provided micro USB cable to the laptop and the output is a good quality stereo RCA plug to the amplifier (so the card acts as a DAC). 3.   I'm amazed by the sound quality and of course the volume on Razer headphones and speakers that I use. The only downside is the plastic of the device. I expected aluminum because of the money it asks for. The software has many options and ready-made profiles depending on what you want to hear. It will take me a long time to process its functions and create my own profiles. My conclusion is that sound cards have nothing to do with the sound cards of motherboards and I found this out with this particular purchase. Also, I should mention that it will greatly help those who are into FPS games. ;-)

  I have paired it with the Philips Fidelio X2HR... I bought them together and they fit perfectly... before that, I had the onboard card with some Razer headphones that cost around 40-50 euros... the difference is chaotic... However, I need to judge it on its own and not together with the headphone upgrade... so:
  1. The volume of the sound has nothing to do with the onboard (much louder now).
  2. The sound quality is clearly better now... it's like having hi-fi speakers worth over 1,000 euros on my ears!!! If you have good headphones and play a proper file like flac, etc., that's where it shows its teeth. However, sound is subjective, so "play" with the software settings to achieve perfect results.
  3. It has several profile and equalizer options that do the job.
  4. As for surround sound, I can see a difference in movies and games, you can clearly distinguish where the enemies are.

  A tip I can give for headphones... first, set your headphones to direct mode 32-bit, 384KHz, and then create a profile with SBX on (for music) and in the equalizer, set it to music. Finally, in playback, set it to STEREO!!! (not 5.1, etc.)... and the bitrate, etc., again 32/384... first play your favorite song in direct mode and then, while listening to it, press the button (for direct mode) to make changes to SBX, and there you will see what the card does...
  Another tip (for those who use it on a PC and have Netflix) is to download the Netflix application on your PC and not watch it from the browser... you will get better picture and sound quality.
  I hope this helps... If your budget allows it, it's a good upgrade

  Worst connectivity. The sound quality is terrible. It was mainly used for fps games. Unfortunately, the software is problematic and the disconnections are constant. Every time I open Discord or a game, even when alt-tabbing sometimes, the card disconnects or freezes and requires reconnection. Many similar issues on many forums. It's a matter of luck whether it will work properly or be useless. I tried everything from troubleshooting, even updating the BIOS, but nothing. The only thing that helped was not having the software at all, which completely defeats the purpose, as everything is controlled from there. 100 euros wasted.

  The sound card is very good but I give it two stars and I have a reason!!!! So, while it has a very clear, powerful, and high-quality sound, it is only for headphones and a two-channel system if you have a good AV receiver that can provide you with 5 or 7 independent channels, you won't be able to use them with this specific card as it does not support decoding. Therefore, if you have a good system with an amplifier and 5.1 speakers and you want to watch a movie or get multiple independent channels from a game, it becomes useless!!! Just for this reason, I wouldn't spend money to buy it if I knew. Feel free to get it if you only have two good speakers or good headphones, you will be amazed at how well the sound plays!!! I connected the console to the card, the card to the desktop computer, and then back to the Logitech 5.1 speakers with a subwoofer through the aux port. You have no idea the result. The increase in sound, both in volume and quality, is about 60%, as when I switch sources and exit the card, the sound is completely low. It helped me, without spending much money, to give depth to a sound that was flatter before. Some say that the card is only for video games, but that is not accurate.   Update 3: There are no connectivity issues after updating the motherboard BIOS. Since this was not a card issue, but a motherboard issue, I am giving it 5 stars.

  Update 2: If you still have connectivity issues, update the BIOS to the latest stable version of your motherboard.

  Update: If you have an x570 motherboard, update the USB drivers as there are USB connectivity issues with this specific motherboard. Also, update the G6 drivers.

  I bought the card after researching for a few days and reading the comments on Skroutz. The card is worth it and more. I hear sounds that I never heard with the onboard (realtek), my speakers are the Z5500 (Logitech) from which I only have 2 of the 5 satellites due to lack of space. For almost 15 years that I have them, the quality that the G6 produces is incredible. Anyone who wants an upgrade in their computer's sound (and not only), the G6 is a very good choice (if not the best), up to this day. My next step is to find more high-quality 2.1 speakers, there things are more difficult than with the sound card

It has a user-friendly software with a plethora of settings. It increases the volume, maybe even over 50%, to a degree that if you leave it at maximum, it can burn the speakers! So you are forced to lower their volume. It has around 10 noise reduction optimization effects, voice clear, crystalizer, surround effect, etc., as well as a very user-friendly equalizer. It also converts any stereo headset to virtual 7.1, which is particularly useful when playing multiplayer games, as you can accurately hear where the opponent is coming from and how far away they are. Finally, it has an optical input for devices that have optical input and do not have an aux input. As for the negatives, I will mention that it does not have inputs to connect 5.1 or 7.1 speakers with three output ports, such as front, rear, and subwoofer, like its predecessor, the Soundblaster XFi SB1.   Yesterday I received my own Sound BlasterX G6 along with the Sound BlasterX Katana to combine them for the best possible result.
  After opening the package, you will see the external card, an optical cable for connecting to a sound system, and a USB cable for connecting to PCs and consoles.
  Inside, you will also find all the detailed manuals on how to connect it, including a thank you letter from Creative.
  Once you connect the card to your PC, you will need to download the Sound Blaster Command application to perform initial updates and all the settings.
  The settings are truly endless, and it may be overwhelming at first, but you will get used to it and learn everything in half an hour, feeling like a professional sound system user.
  It comes with pre-installed settings ready for music, movies, and around 20 games.
  The program also includes settings for the card's RGB lighting.
  Truly, Creative has spoiled us.
  The RGB lighting on the card's logo can be fully adjusted to any color you can imagine, and it also offers 4 extra settings: steady, breathing, pulsating according to the volume, and RGB lighting in all colors.
  Now let's talk about the sound part and the test I conducted with a simple dB measurement application I downloaded on my phone.
  I should mention that I have the Sony Gold headphones, which are not bad, but not super impressive either.

  Without the card, I had to use the headphones at 100% and I wasn't as satisfied.

  For example, on Netflix, in a series I was watching without the card, the rear sounds were relatively low in frequency and volume.
